Great concept, I dig the idea of having my gear off the deck. However, no a big deal, the holding brace holes for the screws are wider than a 2x4 inside the wall. There's no way, a drywall screw would hold the gear. No worries, I made another bracket, secured it to the stud, and then I mounted the bracket to it. Great idea. I may picked up a few more for the jacket and helmet.
