I was slightly taken aback by how much these will clog. After testing a bunch of ink with these, I found that Higgins Black Magic performed best, but I wasn’t impressed. It also didn’t fit in my oblique holder.I got better and finer lines with a brush, so I just went back to that.

I wanted Tatchikawa marus to try out. These are Nikko. I know they're very similar but I also know they are distinct enough in difference that It matters. Nikko leans softer with more flex and fatter lines, Tatchikawa is more firm, and has thinner lines, or at least thinner lines for longer as the nibs wear down. Zebra nibs specialize in being useless trash but that's not relevant. What is relevant is somebody here put up nibs in the image that clearly says Tatchikawa. You lied. The amount charged is Frankly ridiculous, but since no one sells tatchi here in reasonable quantity I gave it a shot. Paid for it. Thanks, you've really brought a brown frown to my face today. dishonor on you, I hope the master nib polisher Mr. Tsuyoshi Imai, kicks you in the reproductive organs.
