It comes with markers and is easy to erase. We got this to work with our toddler on drawing shapes, letters, and numbers. It has two sides so multiple people can draw at the same time.

I uses this all the time when working with small groups. I can stand it up when working on the floor or at the table but I can just as easily keep it folded and use it as a whiteboard if I have to walk around the classroom with it instead. Magnetic works and will hold 5mm laminated vocabulary cards easily - a great product! Oh and it also erases clean - I HATE when boards just smear/smudge when erased and this doesn't.

It was a great idea. Loved the concept. In practice, I found that it was less sturdy than I was hoping. When set up, it gets pushed away whenever anyone puts any marker pressure on it. It warped strangely (no longer flat) within a couple of weeks, and developed a "break" in the surface continuity. After a few months of rare use, I find that the surface is staining, to the point it can't be completely cleaned anymore, with any product.For the price it's probably okay value. We still use it, but I'm definitely looking for something more stable. I would have been better off to have paid a higher price in the first place for something far more durable. I just didn't know that a white board was going to be as important an educational tool as it is.Upshot: White board VERY useful! Don't go cheap if you can get something sturdy. (Sorry, no recommendations on that. I'm still shopping.)

I go this primarily because I wanted my daughter to have a handheld whiteboard, rather than the GIANT easel white/chalkboard she got for Christmas one year. The shape, size and the way this one stands up on its own is great! I do wish there was a handle of some sort so she could carry it around. I also have no idea what the velcro on it is supposed to be used for.. Besides those minor things, this does exactly what it says and it's the perfect size for home, classroom, carrying, etc... and when not in use, you can fold it up, and store it easily! Unlike our old one, it's never in the way! :)

Very good whiteboard. I bought it to study for PhD oral exams as it was a cheap option for a white board and I could set it on a desk to emulate a normal white board height. But now I'm done with exams and I plan to keep it since its so useful! I love that its magnetic and double sided, I plan to use one side for a to-do list and the other for writing down modifications to recipes so I don't forget forget to alter measurements/ingredients as I go. Since it can stand on its own, its easy to move from the kitchen to entry way so I can use it for both functions. Even though its a kids toy, it looks very nice!
