I didn’t realize switching from whiteboard to chalkboard or vice versa would mean I’d have to unscrew it, flip it, and the screw it in again. It’s not the end of the world, just not easy with a 3 year old!

This little easel is adorable for kids. However, like another reviewer said, it doesn’t really hold the easel board up on the one side. The only truly secure setting is all the way down. It’s doesn’t matter how much or how little you tighten the screw, it always releases and eventually the board falls to the bottom.I also have an issue when moving it slightly. The plastic cross bar on the bottom of the A-frame consistently pops out and then it collapses. You have to use 2 hands to keep it together. Not easy when you are holding your child.Overall I’d say it is just okay.

This is such a cute easel. I like how compact it is. The chalkboard is not the easiest to clean but I still like it and my little ones love it. Would make a great gift as well. Love that it sparks creativity.

I get a bit nervous ordering toys from anyone but the big names (Tyco, Fisher Price, etc) because often the plastic is cheap or brittle.Not on this easel, though -- nice, durable rugged plastic and really cute and cool design.I bought it to be a station in my kindergarten classroom, and the kids absolutely love it. I think it would also be great for younger kids (probably best for 3-4 year olds overall...up to 5 but not much older)In fact, my 3 year-old nephew saw it and really wanted it, so I may be getting one for him, too.

This is a really fun easel that includes so many different things you can do with it, chalk, whiteboard, magnets, all in we've been getting a lot of use and joy out of it! Now that said you're sitting here saying "what?! Why 4 stars?!" There is a fatal flaw with it. It's a 'resting' easel that has a little section at the bottom to keep your chalk or pens that 'rests' in place, but in no way is docked in or locked in, as a result it falls out easily, and further the easel itself has had a tendency to fall over at times due to not really being locked in place. Otherwise though, aside from that design flaw it's pretty fun!

The legs of this easel are okay at best. The two sides of "legs" are held together by a thin plastic bend. This bend will definitely bend its last bend at some point and I'm not super hopeful about when that will be. Since it's an easel, the legs are pretty critical to the whole thing.However, the board itself is really cute and nice. The whiteboard finish is great and wipes off easily with no residue or splotches of color left behind like on cheap white boards. The markers are actually really nice with vibrant colors for being in a kids toy. It also comes with two little games but no instructions. One is a version of chutes and ladders the other I don't recognize.I think the board portion of this toy is really nice and if your kiddo is more interested in something to lay flat and play with, it's a great option. But overall, as an easel, I think there's room for improvement and concerns with long term durability.
