I have not added these to a terrarium or a plant's topsoil cover yet but I must say the mix is quite beautiful without being gaudy.

They are pretty. Not as pretty as the handful, shown in the picture. There are a lot clear stones. I was hoping formore blue and red ones like in the picture. The quaility seems good. Just not as colorful as pictured. Easy to clean tooka few rinses. Some of the stones are a good size, but many of them are tiny. I am a wee bit disappointed. I probablywon't buy from this seller again.

Initially, they looked very dull and tiny. But after rinsing, so much prettier. I tossed a few in mineral oil for some shine. The weight was actually a little over the advertised.

The gravel is perfect for mini terrariums. The colors are great (I ordered green and purple) and it's the perfect size--small enough not to overwhelm the small terrariums I used but large enough to be easy to work with.The only reason I rated it a 4/5 is because one of the containers popped open in transit, spilling a good bit of the gravel into the envelope. Luckily it was only one of the two, because separating the colors would have been a nightmare.

I wanted black gravel for a betta tank. The first gravel I tried (bought locally) quickly started losing its paint so I needed a replacement. I decided on glass gravel . . . but that product came and was TINY - think smaller than nerds candy.I bought a couple different brands, not enough to fill the tank but enough to see if I liked it before buying more. This is the clear winner. It arrives in a plastic box which is nice enough to reuse. the gravel needed a rinse but afterwards was clean. It is listed as glass . . . I am not sure if it is glass or stone, but it is pretty. The size is as listed.It does reflect the light more than the smaller gravel, so if you want a flat or dark black this is too reflective to give that. It is a bit of a challenge getting it out of the box without spilling (hold it over a large bowl). The price (currently) is about the same as other gravels of this kind. I am happy enough to buy another package.

Got the black color. They are glass, not stone. I washed them before use but they arrived very clean, no dust in the product.Fully glossy, not matte. Fully opaque even in direct lighting.None chipped or sharp. They have been sieved/screened for uniform size, so I did not have any strange large or tiny bits.To visualize the volume you get it’s only as much as say a tennis ball or a baseball. But that’s good for topping off one potted plant.I used these to make a DIY “laboratory dry bath.” Absolutely perfect for my application.

I purchased these to put on the top of planter to keep the water and a little warmth in on my succulents through the winter. They are very tiny, but beautiful - polished black roundish pebbles. Work perfectly in my opinion and look very nice. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved).
