I needed to observe a higher voltage pulse above 200V and my scope wouldn't handle it, but this probe made it possible. I think it's a good price for the probe, and it works well and seems to be of good quality and comparable to other probes I have used from several different makers. I don't have a good way to check accuracy, but results are reasonable and I'm not inclined to mark it down just because I can't test accuracy.

So didn't notice till it arrived and started using it.. The ground leads is not removable, so there by not repairable once it finally breaks. Not if, but when. If you've used scopes long enough, than you know. The hat hook is made well , the rest of the probe feels well made.. but the non-removable ground is a deal breaker, wont buy another.I bought this while I was waiting for another brand to arrive, where I buy direct from the manufacture who only deals with making probes, but it takes a week. Needed the x100 now.

I bought it due to the recommendation from Youtube video to measure the house Main line. As one of the review pointed out, the only issue is a voltage measurement is a bit off. I measured the house main was 350 volts from peak to peak on the scope but with multimeter it was only 110 x 2 = 220volts.

Because 100:1 ratio is fixed (no switch), an alternative source to standard scope 3V square test signal must be provided to calibrate. But the absence of switch makes it a bit more rugged. As usual, great Hantek price/quality ratio.I always seen the old ground wire that clips to the probe as a big flaw. I'm not sure if permanent ground it's just for the high voltage model or for new models, and hope for the latter.

Good value for money, build quality was much higher than the other budget-oriented X100 high voltage probes I've tried out!

Working as advertized. Looks to be well made. The ground lead is not removable as expected.

Works well once I used opensource software.

I really wanted this to work. Sadly, the measurements with probe were very inaccurate. I compared the readings of this probe with a multimeter and a Tektronix probe and the readings with this probe were up to 50% off. Had to return it.

Mine seems to work very well. Much better than expected. I am planning on ordering at least one more.

These probes need to be certified CE, UL or CSA approved. They need to be at least CAT III rated. They are not.Using these probes could be fatal and can not be used in Canada per the CSA 462 Standard for Electrical Safety.Do not buy these probes. I am certain that people will buy them anyway and use them because they are inexpensive, however many electrical systems have very high arc flash levels. If these probes fail while you are holding them in your hand, you may not have any skin left on your face and arms. THINK about it.

I'm very pleased with this 100x probe. I use this for probing various SMPS circuits (ex: 400V power factor correction, among others) and it works great. I've also applied the full 2000V DC to it and nothing bad happened, no smoke from the probe or oscilloscope. For the price, it is absolutely worth it. Build quality/design feels decent, maybe not quite Tektronix quality, but for 1/10th the price or less, this is definitely an overall superior product.

I received two of these probes and found out that they are not 100 to 1 attenuation probes. The ones that I received were 10 to 1 and 1 to 1. The reason that I rated the two probes only two stars was that the description of the probes was incorrect.

Installed in a couple minutes. Easiest probe compensation I've ever encountered. Small and light, easy to pack along with laptop. I've also acquired the X100 Hantek accessory probes that aren't included in the original kit.I will also purchase a set of X1000 probes as soon as I have an application in which I need to look closely at 480VAC (the X100 probe won't catch the peaks that are 680V).I would recommend this to others who don't need bandwidth beyond 40 MHz. I deal with harmonic analysis and spike-catching for building power, so 40 MHz is fine with me.
