It’s pretty good for what i ordered I wanted a sheath for my HEMA Longsword that I use for my HEMA club. Its a little big for my sword but it will due for what I need this sheathe for which is to house my longsword inbetween my HEMA club classes and sword practice. It was very rough looking but as you can see i actually polished it up using leather shoes polish first brown and then black as a second layer. I definitely recommend using leather shoe polish to help strengthen the leather and polish up it up to a very nice shine to make it look like a very finely made piece of a sheath and the polish will also help protect the leather of the sheath from water and keep the water from making it fall apart. Plus if it ever does fall apart I have some needle and thread to use on leather to put it back together and modify it. The extra straps can be a little confusing but simple once you get an idea of how you want to carry the sword on you. It also has a strap to put on your belt. Its got a good weight and it’s good value for the money charged especially if you know how to modify it to improve it and make it better.

I ended up using this for the SZCO Supplies 40.5” Hand Forged Carbon Steel Rustic Broad Sword with Leather Wrapped Handle, Black/Brown and it worked rather well. However, it leaves about a half inch before the hilt exposed which is not an issue for me.

At this price, it is a great value scabbard. Buckles/straps are not difficult to configure. Holds a hand and half sword just fine.

This sheath is really nice, it’s suede and very heavy duty. It’s pretty heavy too. It holds a very large sword nicely. The straps are a little confusing but it comes with several so you can secure the sheath.

Really high quality scabbard and leather belt hangers. It is a little small for most swords but I found one. It does look great and is thick high quality leather.

Looks good, well made but I don't under the lower belt. Its too big to fit your leg, so what's it for???

Product is from a very rough suede and feels very cheaply made (which okay I’d understand because of the price if it worked) but I got the larger size and even though the sheath is a few inches longer and at least a half an inch wider on either side of the blade than the sword I’m trying to fit in it the blade gets stuck with about 5 inches still sticking out at the top

Decent quality but it came missing the straps that are needed to actually wear it, and the only thing Amazon offered was for me to return the piece that did come, but it is actually being used to hold a sword currently.

I got a sword for a costume, but it did not come with a sheath or scabbard. This sheath fit it well and seems like a decent quality, however I can't yet speak for its longevity. I do wish that there were instructions for the different way to attach the straps.
