I really got tired of the cable and being stuck Everytime I used my wench. I switched to synthetic rope and it is amazing 8500lb. I'm very happy for the change. Saved 40.00 too.

Took off my OE steel cable. It had a set screw holding it in. This has a lead, I call it, with a hole. I got a longer screw then just thread it through the lead hole and screwed it into the drum. Seems to work.
