These work. But I was disappointed, first in the material - it was half the thickness of others I’ve used. Positive - I like the colors and they do soak up a lot of liquid so they do the job. But… they smelled like chemicals until they aired out enough after a couple uses, they had a soft filmy or slimy feel to them wet and I used them for half a dozen times and that slimy feel didn’t go away, and they dry up stiff as a board. Others I have used for years were better because they don’t have that slimy texture, that smell, nor did they dry up like these. Others I’ve used (plain yellow type) remained soft and flexible and worked better because they were thicker.

These are very nice and a good quality chamois. Nicely sized and by keeping it a little damp it prevents drying out and getting crusty. I use these for cleaning stamps and it only takes a single push of a stamp design to get completely clean.

What do I like ? Can rinse and all crap and hairs come right off . Streak free cleaning for all surfaces , can even wet dust w these . These aren’t easy to find . 5$ a cloth , 25$ for 5 is on the expensive side . But again worth it . Can be washed over and over . I’ve had some for 7 years .

We live on a sailboat, salty water. I got these to use on my dog. They suck up the water and I shake it and the hair comes off. I ring it out and put away. They work great. Not stinky after a few uses. I rinse them in a bit of soapy water and they are good as new. Very pleased.

I love the texture, absorbency + pretty colors to boot! Receiving my (5-per-pack) order prior to a recent storm was perfect timing! I used 3 of the 5 cloths to sop up the incoming rainwater that saturated a section of my carpet. I placed on wet spots, stepped on them to absorb the water then picked each up to squeeze out at the sink! No drips along the way either. The shammies literally prevented the wetness from spreading! Post-storm just threw in the washer (cold water + lil detergent) then hung to air-dry. Every household should have a pack…or 2!

I do love these shammies. My only complaint is the color will go away quickly. I suggest washing them a couple of times in the washing machine with nothing else in the load because the colors bleed significantly and they will all end up gray eventually. I put shout color absorbing sheets in the wash with them to soak up the bleeding colors. They are great shammies though.
