I've owned a very similar bluetooth adapter like this before that I use for an old honda. This one pretty much goes above it in every single way and has been a good experience. The little light makes it easier to identify where the buttons are for night driving and there's also a built in mic which is adequate for phone calls. My only gripe is that the sound quality isn't great out of the box, so if you're suffering from the same issue, you can try to use your car's EQ to make it less muffled. Possibly try increasing the treble. I hope that helps! Another issue that I'm concern with is the longevity since the device has to sit in the car in this heat. Overall, I'm still really satisfied with this product and would recommend it for users who have older models of a similar type.

In general the item works very good , seems to have very clear audio for calls from a good distance in the car and seems to pick up my voice fine even from the center counsel. I have had no complaints on that front. It is nice that it came with many different types of cords and connections. It has a good amount of controls and is nice that it can charge while in use. It connects and works very well with the phone. Fits well in the central counsel box of the lexus is250 with the provided auxiliary cable. It also came with a stiff auxiliary connecter that is about 2 inches or so and does not bend. I tried that one at first and it did not allow my glove box to close. It seemed to work fine at first but after wards it had bad sound quality unless I pressed it down some. This could also be due to a defective auxiliary port on the Lexus is250 2is models which I hear is a common occurrence in those models or possibly due to me trying to close the glove box which could have damaged that connecter slightly. However with the auxiliary cable itself that does not seem to be an issue at all and it plays just fine and has no audio issues their. the connecter might just look nicer though in some cars where the auxiliary port is somewhere in the front dash of the car. For me it is nicer to have it on the cable as it can be moved around in case for calls though it does not seem to be an issue and seems people hear me fine even if it is in the center counsel. However the sound was not super great but then again neither is the sound of my sound system. I don't have the premium speakers on my car so it has just normal decent sound quality. It seems that the sound might be slightly worse or is about the same compared to the general sound of the audio system when just playing from the radio. My only sound quality comparisons would be coming from headphones that are on the better side like Soundcore and Bose and JBL where the quality of the audio is definitely better. So the quality of the audio is nothing to write home about but is pretty decent for the price and is about the same or maybe slightly worse if at all then the general speakers of the car.

Handy little adapter, with a number of connection possibilities, in my case having an older computer, there is no built in blue tooth connection, so good to be able to add a connection so can stream from my phone. This adapter cable (approx. 55cm) plugs into the ‘aux in’ port on the control module for my Phillips desktop speakers then connected to the Bluetooth on my phone without any issue and was able to listen to the media content on my phone straight away, while the cable allows the device to be accessible. The transfer of audio quality was good, no issues there. The Bass button made a noticeable difference to the sound. The unit is a discrete size, hidden away under my monitor, having the 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable gives plenty of options for placement, just need to have access to it for charging and turning on / off. Charging is via a USB C port, with a USB A to C cable supplied. There is also a fixed 3.5mm jack to jack connector included. The volume up / down track up / down button on the device works well, along with the play / pause function of the main button, allowing control via the device only. Not used it for calls so can’t comment on the microphone.Good that the RGB can be turned on and off on the unit. The range is not tested very much in my application, being static on a PC; I understand being Bluetooth 5.4 it should have an effective range of about 240m. I do have some other Bluetooth devices (such as speaker) which are old enough to have older Bluetooth standards, so being so portable the adapter can be used to upgrade other devices to improve the range and quality of connection, by plugging into their aux. ports.Quality little device, well made as you would expect from Syncwire , giving new life to older equipment!

This product is intended to be used in cars that don't have a native Bluetooth connection but do have an Aux input jack. This product would allow your phone to play its audio through you car audio system. I didn't try it for this application, but I expect it will work well. I got this product to see if it would work with my old Bose QuietComfort QC2 headphones. The headphones are great, but once phones got rid of the headphone jack, there is no longer a way to use these headphones with my phone. Well, it turns out this device works perfectly with the QC2.This product is easy to use. Charge the Bluetooth receiver using the included USB-A to USB-C cord, turn on the Bluetooth receiver, and select this device from your phone's list of nearby Bluetooth devices. Insert the plug from the headphones into the 3.5mm jack on this Bluetooth receiver, and the audio from the phone plays through the headphones. The audio is clear, with no obvious distortion. It doesn't get super loud in the headphones, but with the phone volume up and the Bluetooth receiver volume up, it was loud enough for me. (Note: when used as intended for a car, your car volume control determines the volume.)One thing that is not clear from the photos is that the plug that is shown sticking out from the device is actually a removable adapter that has a 3.5mm plug on both ends. Think of it as a very short and rigid cable. When this adapter is plugged in, it sticks out 7/8 inch from the Bluetooth receiver body to the base (not the tip) of the audio plug. When you remove this adapter, there is a 3.5mm jack on the Bluetooth receiver, which made it simple for me to plug my headphones into this receiver. In addition to the rigid adapter, a 2 ft cable with 3.5mm plugs at each end is also provided. For portable use, you will need to charge the Bluetooth receiver every couple days, but for use in the car you can probably just leave the charging cable connected to a USB outlet in the car.

This is a great option for my car. I have an old phone and I need to keep it on a charger so I can't plug an aux cord into it at the same time. The bluetooth option is great for me! Works just as it should. Would buy again.

I got this to attach to my wired headset for my pc. There's those days I want to connect through Bluetooth and walk around the room without attachment to the pc while using the headphones. The connectivity works fine and functions well. The item comes with an adapter and can be removed. The item is small and compact and can be inserted into your pocket.

I tried to use this on two flights with no luck. I was able to pair the device very easily but the reception and volume were too faint to be useful. I increased the volume on the adapter and the airplane entertainment screen and it did not improve. This might work perfectly well in a different situation. The device itself seems well made and the Bluetooth connection was easy to make.

Easy to use but the sound is absolutely aweful. Like your speakers are from 1982. I've never had a bluetooth adapter sound so bad.
