This works great. We run a ranch where we board a senior horses and if ever we need to help them with some thing and not stress them out we use this.

I have a mare that is always anxious in the trailer, paws and sometimes kicks the wall. I like this because it calmed her enough to not paw and kick but still alert enough to travel safely.

I ordered this tube of calming paste because I was moving an older mare to my sister's farm (2 hrs 15 min) in the upstate of SC. Although she had trailered many times before, it had been years since she had been hauled and I didn't want to take a chance of her being stressed on the ride. I gave her the tube about 30 min before loading her and then got on the road. I stopped about an hr + into the trip and checked on her and she was quietly munching hay like it was no big deal. Upon arriving at my sister's farm, I unloaded her and let her take in the new environment, walking her around to let her see everything. She was relaxed and very chill. When I took her to meet her new pasture mates ( 2 overgrown, Newfoundland puppies, they barked at her at first and then proceeded to sniffing all around her legs with one ☝️ f them literally crawling betwe her back legs. She just ignored them and went to munching on grass. When I turned her out with them, I expected her to run around, flagging her tail. Instead, she trotted to one end of the pasture with the dogs running behind her, stopped, put her head down in the grass, and began eating. Meanwhile, the dogs continued to check her out while her head never came up from the grass. The only time she ran after that was when I left and she saw the trailer leave without her. She followed the trailer to the end of her pasture, hesitated, and then went back to eating grass. She has now become the Newfoundland's' best friend and they now think she belongs to them. They protect her from everything/everyone that they perceive as a threat.it will be interesting to see what happens when the local black bear comes out of hibernation, looking for food. Don't think he will be coming anywhere near Dixie's paddock with those 2 around. I think this whole adventure would not have gone so smoothly without this product. It worked like a dream. Not only did it help Dixie make the adjustment to new new home quick and easy, she never went off her feed, never showed any colic symptoms from sress, and never seemed to mind the taste of this paste when first administered. This product is alsor reasonably priced and well with the buy. I will definitely purchase again iwhen needed. Overall, I would give this product two thumbs way up 👍👍

Following a complete tube administration and a 90-minute observation period, no effect was observed. The pony remained anxious, indicating a lack of calming response.
