About this item

  • Lights Dim Over Time, Replace In Pairs: Your lights are a pair, one is never turned on without the other. If one bulb burns out, the other isn't far behind. Replace your H11 SilverStar Halogen bulbs in pairs for optimum performance.
  • More Downroad Visibility: SilverStar halogen headlights create a whiter light with more downroad visibility that will enhance your overall experience on the road at night.
  • Whiter Light For Added Clarity: The combination of down-road, side road, and whiter light achieves more clarity during nighttime driving. More clarity improves contrast and makes it easier to see objects on and along the side of the road.
  • Reliable Design For Optimal Performance: SilverStar has a specially designed filament, propriety halogen gas mixture, and a unique lamp coating that shifts the color temperature towards a whiter light.
  • The Sylvania Standard Of Quality: With over 100 years in business, Sylvania is the world leader in automotive lighting for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket.

Went with the fancier SilverStar lights and both bulbs only lasted about 6 months. Installed them in May - both died in December about 2 weeks apart. Utterly ridiculous to have to change these again after 6 months...

While these bulbs are more expensive than standard halogen bulbs, their performance justifies the price for those looking to upgrade their vehicle's lighting. The build quality is reliable, and the bulbs offer decent longevity, though they may not last as long as standard halogens. However, their brightness and performance make them a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to increase safety and visibility on the road.Overall, the SYLVANIA H11 SilverStar High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb is a strong choice for drivers seeking better downroad visibility and a brighter, whiter light for enhanced night driving.

I upgraded my stock headlights in my '16 F-150 with these and have been impressed with the downroad visibility. I haven't been in the country with them yet, only around town, but I've been pleasantly impressed. They're not as "white" as LED lights but definitely more of a white color than the stock halogens.

I expected them to be brighter, to be fair they are brighter then the ones I had but in photos it looks to be even brighter then they end up. Still over all good lights. Works perfect in my vehicle.

I just installed these on a 2013 Cadillac CTS and they are brighter and whiter than the OEM (very little night driving on my Mom's car, so really OEM.) I can tell you to install on that car isn't easy because you have to remove part of the bumper but that's hardly the bulbs' fault.Others complained about these bulbs burning out too fast but you have to put it into context. These bulbs are brighter and whiter than the entry level lightbulb because they burn hotter and likely have a different gas mixture inside the bulb than whatever you're used to. There is an inverse relationship for all incandescent bulbs between lifespan and brightness. More life, less bright. More bright, less life.Using these bulbs >willIf you do a lot of night driving and want bulb longevity over brightness, whiteness and down range illumination then you might try one of the 2 cheaper bulbs made by this company. If you want better night driving performance lights there is 1 bulb above this by this company that does it, but beware those bulbs last for less time than this one. You'll get more runtime hours out of this bulb if you drive less than an hour at a time with lights on and do a 30 minute cool down between multiple trips. It's just the way it is with these bulbs. If you want the best of all worlds and will spend the money, some LED headlight bulbs on the market claim to offer both longevity and superior performance. Personally I find the light frequency of most LED headlights to be a strain on my eyes.

The package was delivered same day, as promised. The light does exactly what it is supposed to. Haven't been pulled over for a missing headlight. I would definitely recommend

Waited to write the review to see how long they will last. It's been more than 7 months now (including a cold Canadian Winter) and these Sylvania H11 SilverStar High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulbs are still going strong! : )I really believe anyone who reports that these halogen headlight bulbs don't last is because they're not aware that any oil on any halogen bulb will cause them to burn out prematurely. Yes, this includes oil from your hands! Once the old bulb is removed, I put on a fresh pair of disposable gloves (nitrile or latex) and install the new bulb. If disposable gloves are not available, washing your hands thoroughly and using a clean rag to handle the bulb will work. The trick for these bulbs to last long is to make sure nothing oily touches the glass. I hope this helps.

Brightness was definitely improved over factory bulbs but longevity leaves much to be desired. I purchased these in Nov 2016, installed one of the 2 and its already burnt out less than 5 months later. I'll try the other and hopefully it lasts much longer.
