I love these bulbs, because of the low wattage use I can use 2 in my overhead lights and they brighten the room like day. No more dim rooms!

So far, one bulb only lasted 12 hours before it started flickering and became really dim. I tried tightening it and it didn’t help. I put it in another socket. Same thing. That was disappointing. Other ones seem ok so far. Time will tell.

Those lightbulbs are very good. The previous ones lasted 3 years.The box packaging was better, it provided more protection for the bulbs. The clear plastic and cardboard packaging is very poor, it offers no protection.

I love these bulbs. They use almost no energy and provide bright light equal to 100W bulb. The light is less yellow than other (incandescent or CFL) bulbs - more toward blue (about 4800K) - which adds to the perceived brightness. I've bought 2 dozen of these - they're great. They work perfectly with my dimmers, which is important to me.

these are ok CFL lights. Since you cant really find them in stores since the LED lights came out ordering them online is about the only option. But they dont seem to last as long as my previous cheap Malwart brands. I have some of them running for over 5 yrs now.2 of these Sylvania's blow smoke after only a few months of use. I cracked a dead one open and tested it but i didnt see anything blown, so it was either the glass leaked out the gas, or the small transformer blew, or both. i can usually get the tube to light using high voltage Tesla coil but they were both toast. Though this isnt unusual having some duds.I'd still recommend these over any LED lights! LED lights are over priced, they NEVER last as long as they claim, nor do they put out very good light IMO. I do need to buy more of these before they all become obsolete and no where to be found.

these are excellent replacement bulbs, are very bright and give good, soft white light. I have lots of lamps in my home and they burn for many hours day and night so for economic reasons I had to start using these spiral replacement bulbs. I was doubtful at first, but they work really well. Be advised, when you first turn them on they will be dim, but will brighten slowly over a few minutes to reach their full brightness. The longer they burn, the better they look. The light is bright "soft" white, not glaring or yellow. They do give equivalent light to the old fashioned 100 watt light bulbs, but produce only a fraction of the heat, and will last much, much longer. And they do cut down of your electric bill. You don't have to sacrifice having decent light in your home to save on your electric bill, just use these spiral bulbs.
