The tray is by no means nonslip. I purchased this in hopes it would hold my phone in place better when it's charging wirelessly. My phone is sliding around more then it was before I Installed this.

I wanted to cover the charging pad in my Forester, because I don't use it, and the material in that area is super slippery - so anything I put there (including my phone!!!) slid around a lot while driving. This mat is a perfect fit and you would never know it didn't come with the car. It's thin enough that I think you could still use the charger if you wanted to, and leaves access to the on/off switch for the charger. I wish subaru had made this storage space so it tilted backwards because even with this mat, things in this space tend to slide forward a bit while driving; but this mat definitely improves the situation for what it is!

It fit the charging space perfectly. I like that you can see if the charger is turned on. It protects the charger surface. The downside is my phone would not charge through the mat as advertised.

I purchased this for my wife's new 2025 Forester. These center console organizer trays are a great addition to your center console. It allows you to place larger items in the bottom of the console and smaller items in the tray for easy access. I have one in my Crosstrek as well. The only issue I have with this one is the console cover latch will not close. I have not tried to put pressure on the console cover to see if I can force it to latch close. However, you can't tell whether the cover is latched or not, so this is still a keeper!
