I read on other posts that it tarnishes quite fast for jewelry, but it was perfect for my art project. It is extremely long and pretty sturdy. It has a great color and shine as well

I've bought this item 2 times now for making suncatchers. It's definitely not for jewelry but is sturdy enough for all the crystals I hang on them.

It’s really bad. The silver coloring is sprayed on, you can tell by the bubbles and grainy look. It also peels off easily, there were bare spots already showing before I unwound some from the spool. I tried to show it in pictures but it’s hard to see, I’ve attached some anyway.The next issue is the main problem and the reason the chain breaks so easily. With normal curb chain the links are lined up “facing” the same way. So the solid top of each link is next to the open end of the link above it. This prevents the thicker top from falling through the small opening. In this chain the links are facing every direction so about 30% of the time two open ends are together allowing them to simply slip through the openings, falling apart. It’s also visually ugly, giving the chain an uneven lumpy look.Finally the chain itself is twisted, I can only guess that it was wrapped around the spools before it was completely cool. Even after unwinding the chain, straightening it, and letting it hang, it reverts back to its twisted state.This chain is not worth even the cheap price it’s being sold for. Not for jewelry or for hanging items. It’s ugly and falls apart with a touch. I recommend you continue looking for a better alternative.

My first time in buying bulk chain - oh my. The first order was way too large, the second was way too small and this was absolutely perfect --- color, shine, strength and size, I couldn't be happier!
