I love my Swopt broom! I wear down the bristles after a year and a half or so and just relace the head. I have other heads to use with the same handle and it makes cleaning easy.

I had accidentally bought a handle that exclusively used this attachment system (as opposed to th screw on handle I'd been expecting), but instead of returning it and finding a new one, I looked at heads that would fit. I found this. It was cheap enough that I felt like giving it a shot and honestly? Very good decision. This thing is built super solid. The bristles are soft yet stiff. The SWOPT attachment is very sturdy and offers only the tiniest rattle when shaken.I've been pleasantly surprised with these developments at every turn and thankful that serendipity lead me to the best broom (and potentially other tools) that I've ever had.

Super weak plastic parts on the end of the broomstick. Broken from one fall.We had this broom for a while with a plan to purchase more heads. However, the broom broke suddenly when it was propped head up against a wall and slid down, hitting the floor. This completely split the plastic latch on on the wood broomstick. It's completely useless now. I'm not willing to buy an entirely new broomstick.Every other broom I've ever used has held up to tons of falls with far more force than this. Swopt, you need to use a stronger plastic.

I mean after all a broom is a broom right? Wrong. This is the Cadillac of brooms. The bristles are so soft the handle so sturdy you would need an ax to break it. All wood. Now I have had so many brooms over the past 50 years of marriage and this one will not only out last me but probably my kids. It picks up dirt so much better than brooms made with those plastic type bristles it is an expressive purchase for a broom but you will not be disappointed and I bet anything it will be the only broom you will ever have to buy. Only thing is you will need to replace just the bristle portion some years from now otherwise not one complaint

Regular house brooms these days are pure junk; sparse, stiff bristles that really just push stuff around in streaks. Was looking for an upgrade and this one seemed like it might work. It has a nice feature of being able to use multiple attachments with one handle, and bristles are better than the other brooms I've looked at, but they're still very stiff/thick and just marginally better spaced than current house brooms. It is much sturdier, and larger, but it should be at the price point. This would make a good shop broom. Maybe that's what it's designed for and my expectations are off. However, still ISO a good soft-bristled house broom.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s my parents had a broom that was spectacular. I assumed all brooms were that good. When I moved out and bought a red broom, the kind the big box stores sell, I was extremely disappointed. When my parents passed about 15 years ago, one of the things from their home I got was the broom. Really, it was that good. I don’t know why my siblings did not want it. Maybe they never did their chores.Anyway, fast forward to 2021, and my parents broom is still going strong. But I have it in the basement. I wanted a broom just a good as it for the main floor. So I ordered this one because the reviews are good and it looks the same as my fabulous broom. Guess what: this broom is just as good as the broom I have from the 60s. It is a fabulous purchase.Now if only someone would make a dust pan as good as the one my parents had, and that I still use.

This broom head has very good bristles, I imagine this will not permanently bend and split and die as quickly as other brands but since I don't kill "other" brands like my mother and mother in law does, it should easily last me til maybe 2030? lol
