This water leak sensor works great! I placed it in the laundry room, kitchen, and guest bedroom, and it detects water instantly. The alarm is loud, and I get immediate alerts on my phone. It already helped me catch a small leak near the washing machine before it became a bigger issue. The one in the kitchen gives me peace of mind under the sink, and the sensor near the guest bathroom adds extra protection.Easy to set up, reliable, and definitely worth it for home safety!

My fire place is leaking water sometime, so I put it inside it to detect if there is leaking! Also I put it under one of the potential leaking sink. It is super helpful

I bought these sensors for my home automation based on Home Assistant and the integration works very well. They are very reliable and very sensitive even to excessive condensation on a surface.

We had one of these fire water heater in our basement, which is right next to our sump pump. Our sump pump overflowed completely submerging this in water, and the alarm did not go off.

I already had a Switchbot hub, so these were easy to add and setup. I do with the description was clearer, as it reads like you can use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, but it actually uses both. You must connect them through Wi-Fi at setup. The alarm is at a good volume, not too ear piercing. The notification comes through quick as well.

I was looking into buying a lot of leak sensors to deploy around my house for peace of mind. At first I was looking at Zigbee sensors. But I saw these Switchbot ones and felt they had some thing things going for them like price and having an onboard alarm to alert people in case not everyone has notifications set up on their phones. But I wasn't willing to buy unless they supported Home Assistant. I looked into it and luckily for me they were just added to support the Switchbot Bluetooth integration in Home Assistant. I tested it and it works like a charm. Just be warned that this is bluetooth, so it's not as responsive as zigbee so there could be a delay of 2-3 seconds for the sensor to change status inside Home Assistant.Another thing though, if you're buying them for Home Assistant. Make sure you have enough BT proxies deployed around your home because bluetooth range isn't that good. In the end I went with these because I already had a bunch of Switchbot blind tilts and Curtain bots so I already had 5 ESP32 BT proxies spread out around my home. If you only have one BT dongle on your HA hardware, then it could be problematic if these have to be spread all over your home.

Advertised as having SmartThings connectivity. While this is true on the surface, the integration is buggy - SmartThings doesn't get the Wet/Dry events in a timely manner and this prevents automations running in SmartThings (like closing a water valve). Otherwise if you want to use it as a standalone sensor or in the SwitchBot ecosystem - it seems to be well built and the SwitchBot app seems to be quite capable

I just got these and so far I'm happy with them. I like that they do not require a hub or a subscription service to work. Setup is simple and only takes a minute or two. I tested them using my thumb and pressing against the contacts and all three worked, sending my phone a notification though the app. You can also set them up to email you. These are the second product I have purchased from SwitchBot, the first being their smart plugs. I have only been using their products for a few months but I'm happy with the company and their products so far. If you are interested in the smart plugs you can find them on Amazon here https://amzn.to/3YsMl9v

I'd been looking for something like this previously and am really happy there is something so affordable and works.I bought a pack of 3 as I have some occasional drips and wanted to know more about when they happen. One of these devices triggered, so, very happy it works.Plenty of configuration options.Took a few attempts to setup as it was looking for a setup code which was meant to be on the device/box, but looks like I was in a different part of the app, because when I tried to add device again it took a different path and setup without a code.
