I was initially concerned about what the quality of the wood pieces would be (before they arrived and we put them together), but they have held up under the use of 3-year old twin boys.I have bought the excellent Hape brand in several toys through Amazon, including train tracks and cars. This brand is compatible with Hape and is a smooth fit. I would recommend!

The tracks fit perfectly with the rest of the tracks we already own. The different pieces allow my child to take the train in many more directions.

Most of the pieces are OK, though some cuts are a little sloppy/not sanded down well/splintering.One of the 3-way splitters is awful. All 3 holes are cut unevenly, and 2 have some wood missing that probably broke off.Very poor quality control.Update:Here is how I fixed it:I reformed the edges with Hot Glue. To get them the right shape, i put a rolled piece of thin cardboard (like cereal box) into the circle. After adding a lot of glue, I used a box cutter to trim it into shape. You can use the hot glue gun tip to smooth over any rough edged.However, I then realized that the cutouts were on such an angle, the other tracks couldn't fit in with the edge replaced.I shaved down the entrance wood edge. Other teacks could fit rhen, but the rails weren't lined up šSo, I shaved down the wood more and I added more glue.

Overall great! We had one small broken piece but our kids went to town immediately adding to their tracks. Exactly the pieces they needed to make their track longer and switch tracks for their trains.

Ordered these to add onto my existing bin of brio track I originally saved from my (now grown) son. My grandson now comes over and loves putting together the wooden train tracks. This was a great addition. Very good quality!

The kids played with this gift ALL DAY! They did not even look at their Easter Basket contents until late afternoon and them we had to pour them out on the table in front of them to get their attention. So many options, easy to share, high quality - great value. Highly recommend.

I have two very happy Grandsons (ages 2.5 and 3.5) and Daddy. The photo includes all the switch tracks from the box except the turntable. Thereās nothing wrong with it, they just didnāt include it in this layout. Having this set has greatly increased the complexity of their layouts (thereās only so much you can do with curved and straight tracks.) It works well with Brio, Thomas, Melissa & Doug tracks.I was a little hesitant about ordering this after reading some older reviews, but Iām glad I did. The box arrived in great giftable condition in an Amazon box. None of the pieces were broken.The turntable design has been modified to work better. It isnāt riveted together as shown on the box, but comes as two pieces. The central turning part is painted blue and is very easy for the kids to find when all the tracks are tossed in the storage container. Itās easy for the kids to assemble and works well.I highly recommend getting this set. Great play value.

I bought Hepa for my grandchild, and we wanted to add railroad parts to widen the game and the possibilities.Hepa has a set of additional railroad, but it is quite poor, here there are a variety of options to widen the set of the Hepa. The grandchild reports that it is great.

I really bought this only to have more variety in switch track pieces because I already had a turntable. I didn't need the turntable, but (so far) this one works really well compared to my other turntable from IKEA that falls apart easily. This one stays as one piece.Several reviewers alerted of a problem with the turntable getting stuck, and yes mine did the same thing. I wasn't surprised but after trying to turn it some more, it was clear the turntable or cutout in the wood was barely not center, causing the turntable to rub on one side after every full rotation. I fixed mine in 30 seconds simply by rotating the table with some force, back and forth over the area that caused friction. Wear down the plastic and wood in this area and you'll be fine. Mine works great now and is much easy for my 2 year-old to handle, rotate, etc. He loves it, Dad too.

These are a great addition to any standard wooden track set. It has allowed us to get even more creative with our setups! The wood quality isnāt the greatest (a few of the female ends are a little rough and/or very snug fitting and some of the male ends are a tad splintery) but still does the trick. My son was extra happy to add an additional turn table to our collection!
