This is a good non-stick pan, deep enough for most stovetop dishes like pasta sauce, stews, rice dishes, etc. Sensitive to any metal or high temps, so use plastic or wood utensils, and don't fry hot. A similar fry pan wore out after a couple years, but this is doing ok with tlc.

We bought this 7 months ago. Placed glass cover on at low heat. There was a huge explosion and the glass had exploded shattered all over kitchen. Unbelievable. We called Swiss Diamond and sent an email. No response. Really, really dangerous.Follow-up: The company contacted us and will fully replace the unit.

This pan is the best we have ever used. The surface is super easy to clean, just a little soap and water. We will definitely buy the rest of the set. The only thing we don't like is the price, but you get what you pay for. So we'll just buy one a time

Perfect for everyday use ... for soups, frying, stir frying, with endless uses. So very easy to clean. Never used high heat because it does wonders at medium .. heats evenly. I would buy this again - when my wears out.

I have other Swiss Diamond pieces and like them a lot. I agree with other reviewers -- the aluminum disk on the bottom is much thinner on this piece, but so far I haven't noticed any negative effects. It came packaged well and in good time. I'd recommend it.

This is the best pot I ever used. Flat bottom is thick enough that will never bend like majority available pots. Non-stick and can use metal utensils. Heats up slowly, but keeps the heat very long. Excellent quality and craftsmanship.
