I’m new to brewing, but I grew up hearing horror stories from my family about bottles exploding and brews gone bad. I bought these for kombucha and have since brewed several batches. The bottles are very easy to clean, sterilize, fill, seal, and forget about for the next five days. I feel like the glass has good integrity and should last a long while, and the stoppers easily come off and go back on after sterilization. I’ve been very pleased with this purchase.

Solid set of bottles ready for the beer I am brewing. Looking forward to it!In hindsight I moved to Liter bottles to reduce the amount of work during bottling. These were a lot of effort but still work very well.

These bottles are worth the money for the home brewers. The lids are a tight fit, dark color to help prevent against light.

These are well-made, nice color, quality glass and stoppers. Perfect for brewing beer or kombucha. Sometimes the stoppers on these types of bottles are cheap, but these are high quality, good ceramic and rigid metal. We expect years of reliable use from them.
Wonderful product. Works great

GREAT BOTTLES for Dear Wife's Kombucha...they hold up really well except she keeps giving them away to friends...hence the need to replenish the supply

I bought these for my kombucha. I love that they are amber to help keep the kombucha in the dark while fermenting. The red rubber stopper on the lid will come off to wash, which I like. They are dishwasher safe. My only complaint is that you can’t really dry them any other way than keeping them open to room air since the opening is so small. Also, since they are amber, you can’t really tell how clean they are. I’ve found that when making Kombucha, I prefer these bottle over any of the wide mouth ones I’ve purchased with the plastic lids. I do have the 32 oz clear glass ones as well..which are also great. These types of bottle seem to produce more carbonation because of a tighter seal. Pictured are the clear ones because I don’t have any photos of the amber ones.
