First of all, I am a real reviewer who bought this ear plugs after reading the Amazon vine reviews. I do not write well, so please believe what the vine reviewers described about this product. It is my 2nd day of its use and I am loving it. I wanted a ear plugs to cancel most of the sounds from TV. I am 50 years female living with a 60 year boyfriend. He turns the TV volume up so high where it made me feel super annoyed and miserable. So I bought this ear plugs and it is doing what It intend to do for me.TV sounds is 90 % gone and I cant hear what the TV is saying. The sounds that still comes into my ear is similar to hearing your neighbors voice from outside far away, or a sound from a unit next door who you share a common walls with. You cant tell what they are saying but the sound are so little that you don't even care to pay attention to. I am reusing it from yesterday and it is just fine! It is hugely worth the $14 buck!

I can't find an NRR rating on these, but from my perspective, these seem to block more than any other type of earplug I've tried. They're a little different from plugs like the foam ones: with foam, you roll them, insert them a bit, then let them expand. With these, you roll them a bit, then sort of ooze them into your ear shape with a little going into the ear canal and the rest shaping around your ear. This results in a really good seal. Yes, you can still hear some sound so it's not a complete shutdown of hearing, but the result is one of the best noise reductions I've gotten from earplugs. As for reuse...I'm not sure how many times I'd try that. The way they sort of ooze makes me feel they'd also pick up some dirt and earwax and such that I might not want to use them again. But for the price (about $12) and the ability to use a single blob to break apart to cover both ears, I've found these as a great option for those times when I need to block the most sound possible without earmuff-style hearing protection.

Edit:⚠️ WARNING ⚠️Do NOT buy. I used these for a few months, I noticed significant residue. Fast forwards to today: I may be going deaf due to these. I have unexplained inflammation in my ear causing tinnitus and hearing loss. I've been on eardrums and medication, nothing is working. I was fine until I used these and have a strong feeling these are what caused it. Buyer bewareOriginal review:They work really well but are a little too crumbly for my piece of mind. The putty gets under my fingernails and crumbles off. It makes me worry that tiny pieces are getting stuck in my ear

I got these for swimming because I'm tired of the constant swimmer's ear and ear infections I started to get as I've grown older. That being said, since it is winter, I have yet to be able to test these in my local pool or lake (where I usually keep telling myself I need to try earplugs from now on but never do) so the jury is still out on if it'll serve it's main purpose for me.I was able to try these for sound deadening though. I used these to avoid the noxious sound of using a loud shop vac in a super tiny room and they worked. I didn't fully shape them to my ear (mostly rolled and shoved them in) but they still were sufficient enough to cancel out the high pitch tones that usually bother my semi-sensitive ears. They got kind of dirty in the process though, although I tried to minimize my touching of the plugs in-ear, they still managed to absorb a lot of dust and debris from our renovation work. They got thrown out after one quick use which is a total waste unfortunately so maybe I'd recommend not using if on a dirty job site and hoping to re-use.First impressions, if this review is helpful I can report back and also let you know if I find further benefits or issues w/ more use in the future. Let me know!

My 16 earplugs arrived in a cardboard box that contained four plastic cases, each containing four sets of earplugs. Two of the cases featured blue earplugs, and the remainder featured green earplugs. The colors are bright and attractive. Also included were instructions on how to use the earplugs. I am familiar with wearing earplugs and set to work inserting them. I discovered that these are easier to prepare and insert than the dominant brand I'm familiar with, which surprised me. I didn't have high hopes when I ordered these, figuring they would be inferior to the familiar product. Well, I stand corrected. They were easier to manipulate and insert, taking less time to achieve the desired seal. In fact, it happened very quickly. Still not a believer, I turned on the TV to test how well they worked. Much to my delight, they worked and worked well. I am not a swimmer, but I use earplugs for loud venues such as movie theaters, concerts, and entertainment venues on cruise ships. These places tend to turn the volume up quite high, which I suppose creates excitement in the crowd. Not being young anymore, I am no longer excited about the prospect of going deaf. These loud noises definitely cause deafness, and earplugs are cheaper, more convenient, and more comfortable than hearing aids. If there are loud noises when I try to sleep, that is the other time I make use of earplugs.I will be buying these in the future. Their ease of use is a definite advantage. I have come to expect that achieving a good seal requires quite a bit of time and effort along with a stiffer and larger product. The smaller size made me think I wouldn't get the desired result, but I was wrong about that. For the suspicious among us, I will say that this product is made in China. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with it. The more familiar product is made in the U.S. I only say this because it does make a difference to some. One can, of course, consider that products contain many ingredients. Even if a product is made in the U.S., that does not mean all of its ingredients come from the U.S. This includes pharmaceuticals and food ingredients.I recommend this product because it works and takes less time and effort to get the desired result.
