Works well for alerting boaters that there are snorkelers in the water. Waist strap and handy dry bag is attached.

I use it in a lake in my area. It doesn't keep a phone dry (put your stuff in a ziplock or drybag) but its easy to inflate, very visible, and gives me a sense of security when I'm swimming alone.

great design, great air valve , made solid, but does not seem to hold air well, ... i am going to revisit the review if I find out why.Using it on the open ocean so it gets rough treatment ...

I purchased this for our travels after a snorkelling incident in Aruba last year. Many beaches are without floatation, rescue devices or lifeguards, and we found ourselves swimming out to rescue a man face down and drifting out with the current, wearing only flippers. I immediately purchased these and have since used these in both Mexico and Grand Cayman and am confident that I am visible to boats, have something to hold onto if I need a break, and could POTENTIALLY use it to pass the floatation to a distressed swimmer. I hope to never test this aspect of the Buoy. I have added a whistle to the bag as an added safety measure. One other safety tip... wear bright colours.. bathing suit, flippers etc. This Buoy is quick to inflate, doesn't bother me when I am swimming, has a handle and feels well built. BUY IT!

La boya es bonita y el material se siente de buena calidad. Funciona bien para nadar y es bastante cómoda, pero no se le puede hacer uso a la bolsa para guardar cosas, ya que se le mete mucho el agua. Me confié de que se podían guardar cosas adentro porque en la descripción del artículo dice que se puede, pero se le filtra el agua. No funciona para guardar teléfono o llaves electrónicas.

I bought these for my family to go to the beach. I know it is not Coast Guard Approved Life Safety Device, but it is and can save your life. We wore it for safety in ocean just in case of a rip tide. I had so many people ask me about it and said it was a smart idea. Plus you can see your kids and family right off due to bright color. Kids wasn’t crazy about it but they found out they could still do anything they wanted and have more freedom in the ocean than before. It held be up in the water at 220lbs. Don’t risk it take something like this to the oven with you. This item is high quality. I looked at several water bouys and did not want to go with those plastic looking things. Love it! I bought five for my entire family. Don’t wish you did.

Loved everything about this. Used it for snorkelling in Mexico. Was great that I could attach it around my waist and let it float beside me and when I needed a break I could grab onto the bag and float.Was also great being able to store my stuff in the bag while it was blown up. Easy to inflate and deflate. Would highly recommend buying this as it is good quality. The part you blow up is a separate part inside the bag. The people I was with always knew where I was due to the brightness of the bag when I was in the water.

Easy to inflate. Seal is good. Durable material.You may need an extra plastic bag or zip lock for your phone or car key. It will get a bit wet in the drag bag part.Overall a very effective product.

This Buoy works really well. Hold air for days and, the dry bag works. I tested it several times with nothing important inside, dry every time. Bought a second one shortly after so I can swim in open water with another swimmer.

I bought this for a snorkeling trip I was going on and it was great. It was nice to know that people and boats could see me in the water but also if I needed to take a break I easily could. I just attached it to my waist and it hardly bothered me. It was worth every penny!
