The size is just right for a smaller space and it holds a week worth of trash. It’s high quality and does not scratch the floors. I took off one star because when the lid opens, it will slam the wall or counter top if it’s too close to the wall.

To easily insert the garbage bag into the pail and then lower the pail into the canister keeping the bag in place is near impossible. Takes several times to complete the task and becomes quite frustrating.See your full review

Appreciate that we can open one side at a time. Our toddler had not figured this out, so we also appreciate that. Good size bins, easy to clean and the stainless steel is easy to clean and doesn't leave streaks. We had a bin prior that was quite a bit more and this one outshines it!

I liked the concept of two bins, side by side. I thought this would make life easier. However, I had no idea what trouble I was in for. Because of the design of this product and the placement of the handle, it is near impossible to remove a full trash bag from this device. The handle gets in the way, requiring the user to slowly inch up the bag out of the device. With every inch, the user must then push the handle back down so that more of the bag can be pulled out. The only way to avoid this Catch-22 is to remove the bag when it is only half full. It just took me 10 minutes to extricate the bag from the grasp of this wretched device. And trash ended up spilling all of the floor. This is not the first time I've had this struggle, and I imagine it won't be the last. Even with two people trying to carefully pull the bag up, it ends up ripping the top of the bag from the rest of it.Save yourself some unnecessary frustration, and buy something else.I wish I had!

Impressed by this can. First time with a two section trash can andove the size and easy step ability of the can. Hands free is nice and so far the can is easy to clean after my littles finger smear it. Handles on the side are nice to have for easy movement and cleaning if needed.

This is exactly what we were looking for and matched the description perfectly. We had a nice trashcan with a lid that smacked the wall if you stepped too hard and a messy recycling situation under our sink that my husband complained about constantly. This dual can with a double pedal/lid that moves softly resolved our problems. I’m very happy with this product.
