I was super skeptical that this would work.I don't believe in mops...they just push the dirt around and don't REALLY get the floor clean.I was brought up in the midwest where, to get a floor clean, you gotta get down on your hands and knees.So when a friend told me to buy this, I was like yeah right.But WOWZA!!! This was the best mop EVER.I mean, still cleaner on hands and knees, sure.But this is a CLOSE second, I'd say does 85% or 90% as well as on hands and knees.A real knee saver.The rubber of the head gives it the resistance you don't get with a regular sponge or string mop.Just wet a dish size towel and wrap it around the rubber head, fold the edges of the towel into itself, and voila you're ready to mop. Change the towel to wash it clean and re-wrap as you do each section of floor. VERY EFFECTIVE.

I was really hopeful when I saw this advertised, I ordered it, tried it immediately upon receiving and I was SHOCKED at how much dirt, dust and pet hair that i swept up with this. Totally in awe! I sweep my home several times a day due to kids running in and out of our yard that is mostly dirt/soil and we have a long haired dog that sheds like crazy in the summer. I always think I’ve done a pretty good job when I’m done sweeping (sweeping with your everyday, standard house bristle broom) but I’ll see a dog here and there and I’ll sweep again to get them. But THIS NEW BROOM is truly an eye opening gem!! I’m shocked at how much I’ve been leaving behind!! Both sides of this broom are very beneficial. I also use it on my rugs (no shag, just flat woven rugs) and it pushes dog hair and sand right out. I’m truly amazed. Best purchase!! Oh one more thing… I mopped my house today and I used this on the flat edge side to dry up all the water/cleaning solution. The flat edge side is just like a big squeegee for the floor. So good! A++++++

Extremely useful in areas and with things to remove that don't lend themselves to sweeping or raking. Though this is my third replacement of the rubber head. The metal stick part is getting rusty and eventually I'll have to buy the whole thing. I do leave it out and I think the weather is not kind to the rubber. Still they do last a couple of years.

This broom head is amazing for pet hair. I found it much more effective to use the squeegee side down and pull it toward me. Please note that this does not pick up the hair and debris, it simply piles it up so it is easy to pickup. I use on a large wool rug and it’s crazy how much hair comes up every time. My high $$ vacuum cleaner can’t even come close to how well this product works for pet hair. It’s not fancy or high tech, but it works!

You know you're an adult when you get excited over a cleaning product. With a house full of kids and dogs (4 each to be exact!) I'm always looking for a better cleaning product. We all know kids and dogs generate a lot of dirt and fur that I end up sweeping 3 times daily. Yes, you read that right! This was my morning sweep, one pass and no fur or dirt left behind. This broom head makes it much quicker and easier to sweep up dirt and hair without having to sweep the same area over and over again. Due to the shape it easy to broom in any direction, use it as a traditional broom or push broom. I haven't tried the squeegee side but it includes that too for any spills the kiddos (or dogs) might make! I love this broom and highly recommend it as an addition to your arsenal of cleaning products.

I have one dog with a short coat and have no idea how easily so much hair ends up on my floor each day! I was sweeping constantly with a standard broom and could tell it was missing quite a bit of dog hair when I thought I was done. I went online and searched "best brooms for sweeping dog hair on hard surface floors" and this one came up more than once. You have to buy the broom head separate from the handle/stick, which stinks, but that was the only thing I wasn't fond of. The broom itself gathers dog hair from the floor better than anything I have used before. I love it!!! The low profile head allows me to get underneath the edges of furniture. I will buy it again and use it as a gift for friends who have pets and hard surface floors! It doesn't compare to a vacuum but does gather a lot of hair off of the surfaces of floor rugs as well. Buy one!!!! You won't regret it!

I'd heard these are good for removing 'embedded' pet hair from rugs, so I figured I'd try it. I've got an oriental rug that seems to hold onto dog hair like it's magnetized, and even my Dyson struggles to get it all. This works great but it does require a fair amount of effort. I use it like a push broom at times but also pull it at times to dislodge the hair. The longer you use it, the better it works (I assume that's because it builds up static that grabs the hair even better). I use this and then use my Dyson, and the rugs are cleaner than they've ever been. Plus, I'm not dumping the Dyson's reservoir as frequently. Definitely worth it.It is incredibly annoying, though, that you have to buy the head and the handle separately. The head won't fit a standard handle, and the handle won't fit other heads. And they aren't sold together, you have to buy them as separate items. So be prepared to spend $50-60 total, not just the approx $25 for the head.

I could have used this broom years ago had I known they existed. I found out about them about 2 weeks ago and knowing I was going to order, I let the hair build up for a few days from the 4 fur babies. I wanted a good idea what this broom was capable of. My vacuum cleaner has always had to work overtime and now it won't have to pull all the load. It works both on carpet and other flooring gathering the hair up nicely, if used correctly. But your dogs might really like the rubber, so be careful. I had to send numerous warnings while using it. ---I could have gotten a handle for it off Amazon but since my husband has a penchant for being useful, I sent him to the hardware store for one to humor him. He brought home two different types and both fit perfectly. I will never be without one of these brooms, again. Just what I needed for our lifestyle.
