Installing this was a pain because the width isn’t set to a standard width that matches stud placement in the US. And this is sold in the US!?I installed it by first installing a 2/4 piece to the studs and then screwing this setup to the plank. The bar at the top keeps coming loose and needs tightening regularly.Other than that it’s been solid and the kiddo has been using it daily morning for their Schroth exercises.

My wife has wanted a Swedish ladder for a few years now. Purchased this unit for her birthday and just got it installed. The entire setup is well made and solidly built. As other reviewers have pointed out, the instructions and attaching it to the wall aren’t laid out too clearly. We cut some scrap 2X4 into three 22” pieces, painted them the colour of our walls and attached the system to them securely (see photos). We have a home gym in our basement, but this unit was installed in our master bedroom. It doesn’t consume a lot of space and works really well. My wife is very happy with her birthday gift and can’t wait to embark on her new stretching routine.NOTE: We had one part that was damaged in shipment, but the company worked with us to make it right (Thank you).

I am very happy with this ladder. It is well made and is very sturdy. It was easy to put together, but not easy to install to wall. The wall anchors that were included are a different type of wall anchors I was not familiar with and the instructions have a different type listed. I emailed customer service and heard back quickly. They sent a video of how to use the wall anchors included. I still wasn’t sure about them, so I ended up not using them and instead used extra wood pieces I picked up from Home Depot to install. Another reviewer has a video for this, and it works really well.Overall, this is a great ladder and is really nice in my home gym.

Put this in my home gym. I was very happy with the quality, it feels solid. Easy to assemble. The mounting hardware will not work in drywall. I installed wood cleats attached to the studs and screwed the stall bars to that.

First, I highly recommend Swedish Ladder as a piece of your home gym. I use it to hold my feet for situps and decline pushups, do assisted pullups, TRX, and resistance band workouts. (I can't manage the 'human flag' quite yet, though, LOL.) The ladder is well-made and very solid and I, at 245 pounds, have confidence that it will hold me even with the most extreme TRX angles. If you read the instructions and lay the pieces out ahead of time, assembly is a breeze. It took me about 40min and the hardest part was mounting to the wall. I would not use the included hardware for attachment to drywall only, but invest in heavy-duty drywall anchors or attach wood mounts at the studs and mount the ladder to those. The mounting holes are about 19inches apart, so you cannot attach both sides to studs. I opted for stud-mount on one side and the drywall anchors on the other and it is solid.I had a small problem and an email to Riowlau customer service was returned and solved inside of a day.Very happy with this purchase!

We purchased this so we could have an exercise system in our small landing area at the bottom of our stairs. Two of our children are very active and are circus performers at a national level (trapeze, silks, hoop, etc) and we wanted something where they could work on strength training and flexibility at home. This works out on both counts. It feels very well made and sturdy. The metal on the frame is decently thick and the wood is nice and solid, no bend to it at all. The accessories it comes with also seem well made, including the thickest pull-up "assist band" I've ever seen. We are able to do a number of different exercises on it, including some one of our children does at physical therapy. My only nitpick might be the top pull up bar, it sometimes shifts slightly while hanging. We probably could prevent that by tightening the bolt a bit more, I'm just worried about over tightening it into the wood. I'll update the review if we do figure this out.We weren't able to follow the installation instructions exactly due to our stair placement and studs and where our top floor overhang was. We were able to attach some 2x4s to the studs and then attach the frame to the 2x4s. So far so good, it feels very solid. I've attached a picture of the setup, we still need to paint and add some finishing touches to make it look a little less jimmy/jerry rigged.
