It’s a square rock… it works fine, but when buying it I only cared about the measurements, color, and the material it was made from. 2 of 3 were perfect, it’s stone and it’s squared well, measurement is good… but the color was wrong.. instead of being solid white like the picture and description it was more a carerra white (marble lines going through it). Had to use white epoxy /poly paint on it to get it right.

Arrived with a slight bow in it. I placed some heavy objects on it for a few nights. It didn’t help much. But applying a generous amount of liquid nails got it to stick enough and then caulked. It’s a bit cheap looking out of the box but once installed you don’t really notice.

Three thumbs down for the manufacturer.I assumed the thickness would be the same as the back splash, based on my experience with other vanity tops that also required purchase of a side splash. I was so concerned about getting the right color and texture that I didn't pay attention to how thin this piece is. It is accurately described but less than half as thick as the back splash of the vanity top. Since I can't think of any other use case for this piece, that's one star lost.Second star gone because the piece is slightly warped. And no, I'm not comparing it to the wall, as walls are commonly out of square, but compared to a level. There is no question there is a slight bow to it.Another star gone because this is more than twice as expensive as the nearly 1-inch marble side splash that goes with our marble vanity top. Puh-lease, $50 for molded plastic . . .

It is thinner than the sink backsplash, but it works great! Ordered 2.

The sidesplash worked great. I sanded the edges to give them a rounded appearance. It matched the sink perfectly!

Swan generally has good products, but the side splash for their vanity top is flawed. I am told by Swan that this is impossible, the product is a thermoset material and cannot bow, that can only mean it was made that way. I bought one back in September and checked to be sure it was not broken but it never occured to me it would be bowed. I was after the Amazon 30 day return window before we went to install it, so I am stuck with the first one. I thought, wow, this must be an anomoly. NO, the second one, the subject of this review, is exactly the same. I will be able to return this one, but I am not sure how I will be able to get a straight side splash to complete the job. I am a contractor, so this fiasco is holding up final payment. The vanity top is a good product, but if they cannot supply a satisfactory side splash, the whole product line is worthless.
