思ったより重く感じる。低音部の音については、慣れが影響すのか?かなり強く吹き込まないと・・・・・。

Fit and finish are perfect. Plays easily, as long as you understand that in general, bass notes require more air to sound than alto or soprano melodicas. Very quickly shipped to the USA - it arrived in under a week!

The sound is really pretty and deep. It’s a bit difficult to sound out the super low notes and makes you a little dizzy at first but it sounds pretty.

This has to be my favorite melodion. The tone is so deep I can feel it in my soul. Was told bass melodions are harder to blow but it's as smooth as can be. My shipment arrived on a Monday wasn't due till Wed or Fri. Very pleased.

The Suzuki Bass Melodica is a fun instrument to play with a very mellow sound. It's definitely not for beginners as it is harder to blow the low notes than an alto Melodica. Since the range is pretty low (from low F on the bottom of the bass clef to the E on bottom of the treble clef), playing chords in the lower ranges sound very mushy. It's best to play this as a single note instrument like maybe a Baritone Sax or Bass Clarinet and not play a lot of chords unless you voice the notes far apart.Pros:Mellow sound.Low notes so it can be used for the bass parts.Cons:Hard to blow some lower notes.Chords in the lower octave are not clear.Accumulates a lot of "moisture" while playing and needs to be frequently drained via the spit valve.

The tone is great. The range limited - and the lower few notes take extra breath control to get them to speak and be punchy enough for use as a bass instrument. However, I'm still loving messing around with it. The instrument is really sturdy and well built though in comparison to a regular melodica I find it quite boxy and heavy and am still not sure what its been designed for. It's a little too clunky for use in an everyday context, and as a bass instrument I'm not sure it really cuts it (needs to have more of a defined tone) though it would be fun to add to a complete melodica choir or something. I tried making a song using it as the main instrument (here it is if you are interested: https://soundcloud.com/honeymoonhill/rise- as I said lovely tone as you'll hear).. I would recommend for ease playing with the long tube as its a bit more clunky to play with the short mouthpipe (unfortunately the longer tube didn't come with and I'm not sure if this was an oversight or not.) ..

very cool sound, very well built...i know because i compared it to another melodica that i bought for 40$...the bass sounds better and is better built.you will need a lot of breath to play it...but you get used to it after a while.

The Suzuki B-24 Bass Melodion is a great instrument with an excellent tone, an appreciable coloration, and a wonderful build quality. The instrument is somewhat tricky to play, as it requires more air – much in the way that bellowed free-reed instruments require it, but if you breathe deeply, and push in air before you depress the keys, it works a lot better. It’s gonna take me some time to learn this instrument properly, but the overall vibe of this instrument puts it in a higher regard than other melodicas I’ve played. This is now my primary instrument.
