Seems like a quality item. However, I could not make it fit on my 2018 4Runner without a gap of approximately 4-8 sq in somewhere along the perimeter of the tent. Since one of the primary reasons I bought this was to prevent mosquitoes getting in, this is a deal killer to me.

This tailgate tent and awning are so cool! It's a great way to expand the use of your vehicle for easy camping options. Also good for daytrips, when you need frequent access to items in the vehicle but want to keep it more shaded or protected. Perfect for picnics and trips to the beach. Easy enough to set up, though it's much easier with two people. Good quality and looks great!

I took the "tent" camping last weekend and it does what it is supposed to. It realistically took me about 5 minutes to put up, maybe a little longer because it was dark when we got to the campsite. The magnets are great at keeping one side on the roof while you put the other side up. It took a little manipulation the first time, but it sealed well. When it got windy I discovered that you just need to adjust the elastic on the wheels to make it fairly taut, and it held well. I've not had a chance to erect the flap, or had it in the rain, yet, but so far, so good. I believe I bought the tent, and a 3-year warranty for a little over $40. Good value!

The use of magnets to secure the covers to your vehicle may cause scratches to the exterior paint. Aside from this potential issue, the setup and removal process is straightforward. I have only utilized it during the winter season, and while the hatch of my Crv had to be closed, it opened and closed without any problems. Next time I use the cover I will make sure to clean the dust and dirt from the area where the magnets will stick and hopefully avoid the scratch

Set up was very quick and intuitive-open your rear hatch, throw it on, get the magnets lined up, bungee to your tire rim and you are camping! Great bonus that is comes with adjustable poles to stake out the canopy!
