How To Use Pleated Skirt Nozzles?
- Clean the nozzle, wash it with water and wipe it dry. Prepare the laminating bag, cut it open and let the nozzle pop out 1-2mm, then insert the nozzle into the bag.
- Put the cream into the bag, taking care to use a cream that is flexible at room temperature and not too soft.
- Place the nozzle on the cup/cake base while gently squeezing the nozzle.
- Clean the end of the nozzle. Fill in the gaps with a pleated skirt-like nozzle - this will complement the overall effect.
- After use, rinse with water, dry and store.

These tips aren't commonly used and create interesting ruffles. They are a standard tip size and can be used with couplers. They are easy to use and can make ruffled skirts, draped borders on the sides of cakes and variations on flowers that would be difficult or impossible with more common tips. Easily cleaned with soap and water and possibly a tip cleaning brush if you have stubborn dried-on icing.There is a learning curve, but easy to get the hang of.Be sure to check the tips when they arrive to make sure you got the right ones; this is my second order as the first set I received was mislabeled in the warehouse.
