So far so good with these scissors, since the hospital we work at provides equipment of lesser quality or cheaply made - these do the trick! Handle well and feel sturdy in our hands. Good price point too.

I love these shears. They're great if you're in health care. They really do cut through a lot of tough things. I think they're a great affordable brand especially if you're going through nursing school and on a budget. Even for work, I use these because they are sturdy and tough. They get the job done. My first pair was gift to me by my older brother but for some reason, that pair was very hard to use because it was tough. However, it lasted me a long time!

As a military member, I've carried IFAKs all over places like Iraq/Afghanistan/Central America and frankly the military does do a pretty good job of putting these together. While checking my supplies during COVID-19, I was not comfortable with the state of my first aid setup and decided to build an IFAK Level 1/2 for my car. The shears have always been one of the more important tools in the kit, honestly because you use them for anything and everything. Cheap shears just don't cut it; you got to have high quality ones. These shears are awesome; I've already used them (for things I probably shouldn't have) and they work great, take abuse and are still ready for the real emergency. Definitely worth the price, and the customer engagement from the company is awesome. Go to their page and check out their stuff; definitely as good or better than military grade.

I put these shears to a side by side text with the standard shears that come in most kits. These shears not only look great but cut like butter. I tested with all types of materials that they would typically be used for in a medical situation. These new trauma shears made the work a lot easier. One of the tougher materials I tested on was the trigger-fold seams on jeans which is thicker and a tougher material. The normal shears took a lot of force to get trough it. The new trauma shears cut with ease. I looked at the serrations between the two and there is a difference which is why the new trauma shears cut smoother and easier (see photo).

The things we buy that we dont want to have to use. CAse in point, these trauma shears. To be honest, I never want to have to use them. I hope they stay in our Surviveware Trauma kit and never see the light of day. BUT, if I have to open the kit down the road, these are the shears I would want to be using.Obviously, you buy these because you want them to cut what you need cutting, but not doing damage to your skin while doing so. The first thing I did when I opened these was to test them out. I have an old car so I thought I would see if the shears would cut through the seat belt. Yeah....that was easy to do. No issues. That gave me some confidence these would do what they were made to do.Do they look and feel cheap? Nope! Did they cost alot? Nope!I feel I got my moneys worth. So with that said, do I ever want to use these? Nope! BUT, if I have to for some reason, I would feel pretty darn confident these would get the job done. Thanx Surviveware

I have two pairs of the shears. I keep one pair in my Jeep first aid kit and another pair attached to my EDC trauma pack. These are good quality shears that will cut through most things you will need them for. As you can see from my pictures, they will cut through a penny and easily cut through fabric. They have a nice blunt tip that keeps them from digging into skin.I fly quite often and always carry my bag with these shears attached to the molle webbing. They are TSA compliant and I have no problems getting them through security.Overall, I am extremely pleased with these shears. If I was a full time EMT, I would probably get the Leatherman Raptor shears, but for my purposes these are very adequate.***********************************************************************************************************************************************I rely on reviews when I make purchases so I put a lot of time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal and my business.
