Not gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed. I have plenty of mylar emergency blankets. I ordered this before there were any reviewer's photos, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. They made the description and product page sound like it was a mylar version of a bivy sack - as in a thicker, more fabricated type of thing. And you can't really tell from the pictures; it looks more like a bivy in the photos as well. This is literally just a mylar emergency blanket that has been created into a bag shape. In fact, my emergency blankets are even bigger than this. However, it does have the advantage of being closed on 3 sides. The pouch it comes in is quite nice and the whistle at the end of the drawstring is nice and loud. I wouldn't say there's a lot of value here because you can find something better for the same price. I'm giving it an average rating because the fact that it's enclosed and the nice pouch with a whistle ups the rating for me. It would easily be a 2 star rating without the pouch and whistle.

I got a few of these for my emergency preparation kit and I'm glad I did! Its basically like those silver mylar "blankets" but in large orange bag form!The pouch it comes with is very tiny which threw me off at first, but it takes up less room that way in my backpack. It's definitely not a sleeping bag for camping (I mean it CAN be if you'd rather be uncomfortable) but for emergency or survival situations. Not a bad price as well!

This emergency bag looks and feels much more durable than the typical mylar emergency blanket. I like the storage bag and I was even able to get it to fit back in the bag after testing it out. This is a good addition to my cold weather emergency gear.

Lightweight and highly visible. Plan on keeping one in the car in case we ever get stuck somewhere in the snow. Will be buying another to put in my wife's car.

I have luckily never needed to use this type of product, but these are great to have on hand in your car, emergency/survival kit, BOB, etc. I didn’t fully unwrap the sleeping bag because it is meant for emergency use and I figured that I wouldn’t be able to fold it back up to fit in the storage pouch, but i did inspect it and it appears to be of the same quality as other emergency mylar blankets.The sleeping bag comes in a carry pouch that has an emergency whistle attached to the drawstring. The measurements listed on the product page for the pouch are correct (roughly 4” x 3”).The price is a bit high for a mylar blanket product, but what sets it apart from standard emergency mylar blankets is that it is sealed on three sides.

So you shouldn't ever have high expectations for a mylar thermal "emergency" sleeping bag. They'd fundamentally the cheap mylar heat reflecting emergency blankets in a "bag" format. So I went into the review with tempered expectations. This particular model is above average for the sort, a touch thicker than most, and therefore more likely to make it through one or two days of the expected emergency use. But I've seen similar models bundled into 72 hour kits at a lower price point than $9.99 US. But even with the thicker material, you shouldn't be expecting much repeat use of such things, as they're fragile and intended as disposable - and as such, cost is a noticeable issue. 4/5

Well made, quality carrying sack, easy to stash away in your backpack. Hi Vis orange also makes you easy to see in the event you are trapped and need to be located. I put my arm inside of it and I can tell you it is very warm and reflects back the body heat as described. Great value for the price.
