I'm Not sure what the wattage of this product is as it's listed as 1E+1 ? Needless to say I think it may be higher than expected. As a previous review accurately states that it gets warmer than expected. I have 3 that I'm happy with although the item has increased from $58 in November 2024 to $73 in Feb 2025. Clips do work but not the best. Overall a decent product but you will only get 2 projects out of it unless you buy more power cords.

Nice looking light. For indoor use, there are better options - search for "tatazone"The clips work well. There are two power plugs included so you can cut this strip into two parts, and then use both strings. The manual specifies 1.8W per meter, but I measured 1.9W per *foot*. This strip is warm to the touch. The power draw seems a bit much for LEDs. Minus two stars for that.

We were looking for rope lights for a permanent outdoor project. We needed 73 linear feet, so the lights either needed to come in a 75' or longer length or be linkable. Estimated price from a local signage company was around $1600. These Surnie-US lights met our needs perfectly, for a total cost of about $120 for the two linkable 50' rolls (they were on sale on Amazon at the time of purchase). The lights we ordered are the bright white version, and they are in fact VERY bright. The included clips worked well, and we only broke one during installation. The clips are plastic, so we'll see how they hold up over time. If necessary, I'll replace the plastic clips with metal ones. The rope lights were flexible enough to allow us to make the 90 degree bends we needed, even when installing with temperatures in the 40s.

Ordered 2 of these strips to connect and hang around the ceiling of my restaurant. Read some reviews stating issues with overheating but overall I saw a good consensus with longevity being a positive and they are also rated to be outside. I received both and immediately started hanging them. Test plugged it in, the whole strip lit up in the roll and looked awesome. Painstakingly put some of the mounting brackets up using the smallest screws imaginable that came with it. Started to hang them and immediately the first foot of the lights went out. Insane. Swapped it out for the other strip I bought thinking I received a dud, same exact thing happened. I said whatever cause it was in a corner and I would probably be able to wrap around to cover it. Continued putting the whole first light strip up, plugged it in whole thing lit up exact the one section and I was moderately happy. Started with the second strip but had to reverse it onto the other winder to try and eliminate the dead section from the first strip. Went to plug in now the opposite end just to make sure it didn’t happen again, meanwhile I had let the installed one sit on for maybe 10 minutes. I touched it and it was HOT. Like I could barely handle it for a few seconds and I handle cast irons all night in the kitchen. Also noticed that the color of the on strip was no longer a consistent pink and you could see the individual leds through the opaque casing. And then a section in the middle of the strip went out. Trash. Took down and immediately started the return process. Didn’t even have it for an hour before it stopped working

NEW UPDATE: May 2022After receiving the new order of lights after my previous order was defunct, I’ve been very happy with them since, for at least 8 months now.The brightness is still radiantly beautiful and the lights are showing no signs of wear and tear or fading, even though I have them hung on the wall twisting to spell out a name.I can leave the lights on for several long hours and they remain room temperature to the touch. It’s definitely a bold a bright statement piece on the wall. I would definitely recommend purchasing them if you want bold neon lighting.PREVIOUS REVIEW: Oct 2021In contrast to other pink LED rope lights out there, this one is extremely bright! It might even be too bright for some users and their desired locations. However, I will say that the quality of the radiance is very beautiful and evenly distributed very well. Even the back of the light gives off a nice glow.Unfortunately, I was disappointed though, because midway into installation, about a third of the light just went dark and would not light up again unless I bent it in a certain way. Obviously there was a short in it, which really sucks as I had already spent hours setting up the installation. One more negative feature is that it gets warm. It didn’t get extremely hot, but definitely warm to the touch. I’m wondering if in the future this manufacturer would simply lower the brightness a bit and hopefully that might take care of the excessive heat. Because the light truly is a beautiful color, but it doesn’t need to be this extreme level of brightness. A tad dimmer would actually go a long way. I re-ordered a new one to replace the defunct one, and I’ll gladly update and better this review if this new one doesn’t die so easily. I handled the light with the upmost care, and it still partly gave out on me, so I’m not too sure if that was just a fluke or a flaw in its total design. I’ll know in a few days I guess, after I install the new one.
