The design does not allow for the front of the board to be displayed because it doesn’t allow for the fins. Needs to come a little further out from the wall.

The board hooks are sturdy and intricately carved. Definitely compliment my Surftech faux wood my 10 foot Bear Waikiki Special. However, my board and it may just be mine, wanted to fall forward at the top and flop out. Maybe it was just so big. You may not have this problem. The solution was simple. I bought a second pair of hooks, flipped the metal screw locking plate and put the second pair above the bottom pair. Now they look like teeth holding the board. The hooks are great.
