Definitely a great choice for a surfboard sock! I got this to cover my board while I’m not using it, so it doesn’t get scratched and it’s been perfect. It’s incredibly easy to put on, just slips right over. It’s not padded or protective but it adds another nice layer so your board isn’t just out in the open. The pattern isn’t anything special but I’m not going for fashion!

This an extremely nicely made surfboards sock, made of a high quality terry cloth and a reinforced nose. It is definitely durable and will protect a surfboard nicely. The issue is that this 8 foot sock is designed for a pointed nose, in reality almost all the common soft top boards and fiberglass longboards have a rounded nose so this sock is for a very specific type of longer board. It won't work for any of my current boards.

I got this for my Paddleboard because I keep it on a rock outside. Nice soft sock material to help keep it safe from the general elements. Fit well and works for what I need. I don’t usually travel with it but this would definitely help protect it from scratches. Nice bungee design to keep it on snuggly! Fun beach stripes!

I got the 6' version and use it on a wing foil board, not a surfboard. Wing foil boards are quite a bit thicker than surfboards and as a result the drawstring has to be removed to use the sock. It does an OK job of protecting the board from scratches but of course is not like a padded case.

The 7'5" is a perfect fit for my 7 foot foamie, even with the fins on. Top is reinforced and shaped to fit the board. Drawstring closure. Small pouch inside the open end for the leash or whatever. Fabric is a soft stretchy terry. Easy way to transport my board post-surf without getting sand in my van.

It feels like it's protecting my board well even though it's lightweight, especially from scratches. With all of the gear I always have in my car, this cover helps me avoid the inadvertent nicks that used to occur. In addition, I appreciate that it shields the board from the light. I'm relieved that since I started using my board, I haven't noticed any fading or discoloration because I spend a lot of time outside in the sun. I especially value the small pocket that is integrated into the cover. It's just the right size for all the little necessities, like my keys or wax, that I frequently forget. Although it's a basic feature, it has somewhat improved the convenience of my beach vacations.
