Love these outlets with built-in USB plugs. I am no electrician, but these were easy enough to swap out- just make sure to kill the power on the fuse box before trying to swap them out!

This is a review about the include screwless covers that come with the outlet. They are not that good. They would not fit on my kitchen outlets and I had to use a Home Depot bought cover made by Lutron, which are also screwless and look great. I could not get the plate to push down far enough to make a connection. When I tested it on the outlet before putting it in they also had a somewhat loose fit, which didn’t look too good. The outlet itself I can’t comment on its functionality yet, but if anything goes wrong, I will update this review. So far they are working, but I’ve only had them on for a few minutes. I bought four of these units.

Exactly what I wanted. USB A and C charging, and it's surprisingly hard to find receptacles with wire clamps, NOT pre-wired with extra wires to take up space in your box.

These outlets were easy to install and work perfectly. They charge usb devices at 4.5 amps, which is a fast charge for most electronics. You can get your phone charged up pretty quickly. They are a little bulky because of the built in transformer, but they still fit inside my boxes just fine. The instructions were easy to follow, but you pretty much just hook them up the same way as whatever you are replacing.I like the safety plugs. No more using those plastic outlet covers to prevent little ones from putting stuff in there. This is a pretty good value for a two pack.Would recommend.

Just installed one of these the other night in my daughter's bedroom. They are GFCI protected, and have a small green light to let you know there is power and everything is good! Install was very easy, and really no different than most other outlets, so if you know basic electrical connections, you won't have any problem. I didn't use the face plate that came with this, but it looks nice and like it wouldn't have been an issue if I did, but I wanted to keep the old one so it looks the same as all the other outlets in the room.

These are good receptacles that allow you to have USB and GFCI protection anywhere inside a house. The most prominent use for one of these would be at a kitchen where GFCI protection is needed and USB power is convenient. It's deeper than regular receptacles and some non-USB GFCIs I have seen, but I have seen deeper. It won't be easy to work with in shallow boxes, but it can be done. These receptacles make use of the modern clamp down mechanism, meaning that the screws on the side stay in place. This is much more convenient for side wiring, and I recommend connecting your wires via side wiring since it makes a better connection. If you want to make an argument for back wiring being easier for stranded wire, all you have to do is get your pliers and cut in two places an inch apart. Next, take a fine blade and cut off that small segment. Now you can wrap the wire around the screw and the strands will not go everywhere. Don't use this to feed another receptacle, though. Only connect the input to the line terminals and the output to the load terminals. This will ensure that all of your receptacles downstream will also be GFCI protected. The USB ports are only 5 volts, but I have yet to see a USB wall receptacle with higher than this, so it's normal. They have a large pool of maximum shared amperage to ensure that your devices won't charge slow, though. I just wouldn't use it to charge a laptop. These are not weather resistant, so you cannot use them outside. The listing just used a lot of stock, generic images that other receptacle sellers use, so they showed it being used outside. I've seen a non weather resistant receptacle that has been outside for two decades. The silver (most likely actually steel) screws were rusted, so only use these inside in a low humidity environment. These are ETL listed and tamper resistant, so they're up to code. You won't have to worry about whether or not it can be installed, so I'd recommend getting these. They're an acceptable price and aren't extremely deep.
