First off, these things stink pretty bad right out of the package. It's not too bad for me because it smells like those mock-tortoise guitar picks that I used way back when I was a kid. Good memories there.I am impressed with the length and consistent size of this binding material. It is far more consistent that what I have prepared on my own. The length of one piece is more than sufficient to bind the top of an acoustic or electric guitar. If you only bind the top, you've got enough for two guitars here. If you bind the top and back, then you've got enough for one guitar.Working with the material, it is flexible enough for making the lazy curves around a guitar body. When I cam to the cutaway, I warmed it a little with an air gun before bending it. There's a fine line here that you should not cross. A little heat is good. Too much heat will probably cause this stuff to burst into flame (like those old guitar picks I used to customize by burning off the pointy tip).Recommended!
