Little hard to apply because of the large size, but comes with 3 of you mess up. So far so good

You WILL get bubbles underneath the screen protector film, no matter what you do. On the other hand, the bubbles are not visible on light backgrounds and more visible on dark backgrounds. It does help a lot against glare, but could use better/more tools to help with installation. Stickers or alcohol wipes would've been very helpful

The matte screen protector is very nice to have under adverse lighting conditions. It stops a lot of reflections but also makes the screen appear dimmer and less vibrant. For my use I don’t mind it at all but I can see it being an issue for some. It can be tricky to install and should be done in a clean environment. I would definitely recommend it though since it’s a great value for the money.

Most of the negative reviews here are written by people who don't really know how to install screen protectors. And I don't entirely blame them-- installing a 16" screen protector is hard. But in general this is a very good protector that is cut precisely and has a decent matte coating.A couple of tips:- You need at least two stickers/tape to anchor the screen protector. Masking tape should do it but make sure it has enough adhesive power.- Go slow. Use a large sticker to get any dust off of the display + a flashlight.- USEFUL TIP: put a sticker on the display in one corner before peeling off the inner layer and installing. This will effectively shim the protector and allow you to lift it up to get any remaining dust that might be bubbling.- Last but not least, make sure to cover the included cardboard spudger with a soft material. I used a shirt. Otherwise you risk scratching the protector. The end result for this protector is pretty good. There is some matte graininess but that's to be expected. Overall 5/5 product if you know what you're doing.

There are still some small bubbles after application. But you cannot see them at all when the screen is on. I feel this PET film is a safer option than glass screen protectors. The screen looks great, I like the anti glare look.

Don’t really know how I feel about this. It has a lot of air bubbles. A little difficult to put on. Became like a magnet attracting everything and before I get to put it close to the screen. I had to use two screen protectors to get it right.

This product gives a nice feel on the screen. It takes away glare, but not as much as a matte glass protector would, it’s hard to find one of those

I wouldn't say it was easy to install. Definitely not without the tools I already had leftover from protective screens for my phone and tablet. And at the start I was a little disappointed with the matte surface quality – the grain is definitely noticeable at first. It also slightly reduces the perceived brightness of the screen. But you get used to it pretty fast, and I wouldn't say it impacts the image quality much. The film is pretty thin, which is a plus. Overall this is a high quality product and I would recommend it to anyone.

The protector for my new M1 16" was bad experience. It is difficult to install (instruction was sketch, the tabs and cover was placed in very peculiar position, and bubbles were difficult avoid. Also, the fit was terrible as the edges will not adhere well and will always have bubble in it. Better installation instruction, easy to use guide & tabs, and slightly smaller size will make the installation go faster. I did not notice any anti-glare benefit from this protector either.

This is not something you want to install yourself if you have never done it before. Or, you can buy a few packages to practice until you 'get' it.Simply put, I love mine. It's much less noticeable compared to the screen protector I put on my previous 15" 2019 MBP. The anti-glare ability works pretty well but it does compromise the clearness so make sure you are ok with that, otherwise order the clean one instead. The installation is pretty easy as long you understand what you are getting into. I use the first sheet of screen protector to practice The inner layer of the screen protector picks up most if not all the dust left behind on the screen at once, making the actual installation virtually dust-free. I put 3 pieces of masking tape on the top edge to secure the screen in place, the wider the tape the better in my experience. Then another tape across the second half of the screen protector in the middle as the 'handle'. Finally, another tape makes a loop for picking up any small dust pieces during the installation.Remove the protective layer carefully if this is your actual installation piece. Slowly put down the screen protector using the 'handle' while using the squeegee to squeeze out any air bubbles. The goal here is to remove the big bubbles because there will be some smaller ones forming but they will go away in a few hours or days. Use the loop tape you made to pick up any specks of dust you notice during this step. Don't let go of the 'handle' until you completed the entire screen and be prepared to lift it up again for dust removal.Last but not least, peel off the masking tape from the top and remove the top protective layer slowly, watch out for the corner/edge as they can lift up in the step. This is it. Very straightforward but does take some prep and patience.
