About this item

  • MADE IN USA: Do you want an easy-to-use American-made embroidery backing stabilizer? Look no further! This made-in-USA fusible stabilizer requires no time-consuming preparation – just iron it onto the fabric. This fabric stabilizer stabilizes any fabric in seconds and provides an irritation-free layer between your fabric and the needle. Our USA-made cloud cover stitch backing is great for busy crafters and those who don't have the time for traditional preparation.
  • Cloud Cover Stitch: You will want a fusible tear-away stabilizer for embroidery that will create a firm bond without reducing fabric drapability. This fusible cutaway stabilizer is especially useful when embroidering on delicate or lightweight fabrics that may not hold up to a traditional stabilizer. This feature allows for a secure grip for the embroidery on garments without affecting the drape or hangs of the fabric.
  • Great Fit Guaranteed Over the Back Fusible: Are you looking for a reliable stabilizer? Consider embroidery backing medium-weight fusible stabilizer. It helps to eliminate shifting, sliding, and puckering of material, so that your projects look sharp and professional. With an iron-on embroidery stabilizer, you can be sure of smooth and precise stitches, great for intricate designs or large-scale projects. You can also choose from WHITE, or even bigger rolls of BLACK 14” x 25 yards.
  • Soft & Sheer Iron On Stabilizer: For those seeking a soft and sheer fabric ideal for embroidery, this made-in-USA iron on stabilizer is a reliable choice. Not only it provides a lightweight structure, but this stabilizer for embroidery is also stretchy for a comfortable fit. The thin profile of our iron-on backing for embroidery makes it a great choice for embroidery projects requiring a sheer look.
  • Stretch With Ease: You'll appreciate the multi-directional stretch of this iron on embroidery backing for maximum flexibility. It allows the product to move comfortably with any lightweight stabilizer iron on fabric or garment and helps retain the material's original shape. This white stabilizer for embroidery is especially useful when adding intricate details and contours to garments or crafts.

Tear Away Stabilizer

2.0 Cut Away, 2.5 Cut Away & 3.0 Cut Away

Cut away stabilizer must be removed by cutting it away and the rest behind the stitch will remain on the fabric for the life of the design.

Cut away stabilizer is considered the most stable stabilizer.

It is typically recommended for unstable and stretchy fabric such as knits and high-stitch count design.

embroidery stabilizer

1.5 Light Tear Away, 1.8 Soft Tear Away & 2.0 Adhesive Peel & Stick Tear Away

Tear away stabilizers are used when you wish to remove most of the excess stabilizer from the back of the project after embroidery.

It was recommended to be used on woven fabrics that have no stretch like quilted fabrics, 100 percent cotton, poly cotton fabrics, linen, vinyl, leather…

embroidery stabilizer

Water Soluble Wash Away, H2O "Eau" Gone Wash Away & Stitch & Rinse Wash Away

If your project requires no traces of the stabilizer to be left after embroidery, you must use a wash away stabilizer.

The strength of support offered by a wash away stabilizer is significantly less than cut away or tear away stabilizers.

Wash away embroidery stabilizer is recommended for lightweight fabric and Free Standing Lace.

embroidery stabilizer

Invisible Mesh

No Show Mesh is also a kind of cutaway embroidery stabilizer which will remain forever fixed to your fabric but it is sheer and semi-transparent which is not for very heavy design.

It is extremely soft for baby garment and some fabric when soft is a very important consideration.

I used to use a much more expensive brand and this one blows that one out of the water in terms of price, value and adhesion. I have a sweater I used this on and it has lasted over a year and through many washes. As a tip, if you round the edges it seems to adhere much longer.

When embroidery and applique on a custom baby gown set I use this to cover the rough stitches. It makes the inside of the gown soft that that sweet new born baby. I'll also use it on the inside of a silky feeling poly before I add embroidery to give my garment an extra layer without adding bulk before I hoop it with my stabilizer.

I have never had an issue with it pealing off and it does an incredible job of making the inside soft after embroidery. I even do my husbands work shirts as the embroidery wasn't covered. It doesn't show through and customers really like it

This is exactly what I was looking for. It ironed on easily, and stayed bonded after going through the laundry. It makes embroidery on t-shirts look professionally finished on the inside, and is comfortable against the skin.

I was doing some embroidery on black tote bags and needed some black backing to cover the inside stitching. It was hard to find backing in black, so I grabbed this as soon as I saw it. It worked out great and so glad I now have black backing. Soft and covered nicely.

My child’s school uniform embroidery was so rough it was unwearable. This product is the perfect solution! I cut it to be a little larger than the embroidery, ironed it on, and it is soft and perfect!!

Works, feels, and stands up just as well as the high dollar name brands. Easy quick iron on finished projects and holds up well to washing. Used on toddlers clothes and took no special care in wash dry cycles (although if edges come up a bit it can easily be ironed down again). Will purchase again.

Cloud Cover is a must have addition to my sewing room.I use it on the inside of t-shirts that I have embroidered on. I cut away the stabiliser to about 5mm of the embroidered design then cut Cloud Cover in the same shape but 5mm larger than the stabiliser.Try not to leave sharp corners but round them off. This helps the Cloud cover to not lift at the corners. Pinking shears works well as well.

Everyone should have this stuff!! It works so well over course seams, scratchy embroidery and material. It irons on well and stays on through washes. Great for kids especially with sensory issues.

Nice and soft as advertised. Irons on well...tho I do recommend cutting it in a circle or oval. It will stick better with no corners.
