Lets start with the knobs, which are a different shade of gold from the rest of the metal parts on this desk. That was, in and of itself, annoying. I can't look at it and not see it.As I put in some of the screws in the pre-marked holes, the veneer chipped away around the screw. Since those were internal and not visible, I was only annoyed, but not enough to stop or return it. I should have stopped.I did painstakingly check that every part listed (over twenty parts of the desk and ten different kinds of hardware) was included in the box, that way I wouldn't have to waste any time constructing something if there was a piece missing. Every part was labeled and it appeared I had everything, so I spent 30 minutes constructing. Unfortunately, piece #5 was actually a duplicated #3, and I could not attach the drawer glides for the right side of the desk. The holes don't line up because they are in the wrong position. Since this is cheap, manufactured wood, just screwing in the parts where they need to be is very likely to split the wood or veneer, and I can't predrill without risking going through the piece and then having an unsightly hole on the outside.What I intended to do was do a return with a replacement product, where Amazon sends me a replacement product and then I send back the defective one within a certain time frame, but the only option was to actually return it for a refund, which would take even more of my time to break it all down and fit it back into the box for a return. So rather than return it, I chose to contact the company. I called the number amazon provided.Of course it wasn't a person, it's a machine that will literally only direct you to send an email. It told me to send an email with a description of the problem and pictures and they would reply and resolve my issue in 12 hours. I took the pictures, provided my order number, and described the problem. I sent the email. Instead of a resolution in 12 hours, what I received was an automatic response that said they would respond in 48. Respond, mind you, not correct the issue, just respond to my initial email. This leaves me with a half assembled product in my house with packaging I can't recycle or throw away until this is resolved.Now I'm torn between breaking it down to return it and just leaving this negative review as a buyer-beware kind of warning or talking to Amazon customer service to see if they can correct the issue.

This product is as advertised and it has been rated. It is a great product. The price point is low. It was very simple to assemble following the depictions. It does take some time as there are multiple pieces. Everything works completely smoothly. After it was assembled, I pushed down on the drawer insert to remove the number stickerand so now it’s a little rough closing the drawer, so please remove any labels before you assemble the pieces because the drawers pulls ran perfectly smoothly. I highly recommend. It also was a length that was perfect and difficult to find. I’m considering buying a glass top to protect the surface.

This is very practical and can be used as a desk or a vanity. The drawers are a nice size. This wasn't too hard to put together either and came with instructions and all the tools needed.

*Note: The vanity does not come with the seat in my picture. I wanted this seat instead of the one included.All in all, I would purchase this again. It's a nice size, and looks nice – clean lines and simple. The drawers open and close smoothly, and functionally have a good depth.Cons: Assembly is a bit of a hassle. Several predrilled holes were not perfectly straight, so getting hardware to align correctly took some shoulder strength. Not a single part of this is preassembled. By myself, and taking great care with the product being pressed board, it took about 90 minutes to assemble. Also, my only real disappointment is that the drawer bottoms are too thin, which makes them somewhat flimsy. I will likely find a solution to reinforce them a bit.Assembly tips:1. Take your time! The board chips easily, especially when inserting the cam-screws.2. Don't tighten-down any screws on the frame, until it's all aligned and the screws are all in. Then go back and tighten them down before proceeding to the boards.3. DON'T bear down on the wood screws! Hand tighten just to firm. Over-tightening (or using a power driver) will surely split these boards! Take caution, in that regard.4. If your hands are soft, wear gloves. The number of screws with this thing gave me quite the blister... Not to mention cuts on my fingers.

I am not very often to leave a review, my kid asking this for vanity table, I thought it was a bit over priced! But the quality is very good, the instructions are very clear and make things easy! Very satisfied purchase!

This was easy to put together. It looks great and it is super sturdy and well made. The stool is also very nice and supports even a large person. Such a great product at a nice price. Very pleasantly surprised. The only thing I will change is the gold nobs for some nickel ones.

It’s a bit small and the process took 2 hours with 2 people it was really frustrating but for the price it’s really good. Plus packaging was really nice
