I'm 5'5", 165lbs. I bought a Large navy blue based on others' reviews; they said it would shrink, I wanted to be able to wash this bathrobe without worrying about shrinkage, and so I bought it too big. I washed it on warm and dried it on high heat... it shrank a perfect amount for me. It is cotton, I do not use fabric softeners, so it feels rough like a cotton towel coming out of the dryer. I love this bathrobe; it works very very well for me!! I do prefer absorbant 100% natural cotton fiber over any polyester synthetic fabric. Happy purchasing, and I hope my feed back helps the next buyers.

My husband and I purchased matching robes in XL as a Christmas present. After reading the reviews, I purchased larger in anticipation that these would shrink after washing them.When they first arrived, the XL was too long in the sleeves and a little long for me (5’7”) but fit my husband (6’) perfectly. After washing mine once in cold and tumble dried low, the robe shrunk 2-3” everywhere— which actually fits me better now! The photo shows the before and after (washed robe on the left).We’re both happy with the quality of the robes. Love the ankle length, the terry and waffle fabric is soft, and has a nice level of warmth when wearing them. Might be too warm in summer for my husband, but we’ll see!

After years of getting (mostly!) good stuff on Amazon, I get something that stands out completely. This robe makes ALL the other robes out there look cheap. You can actually feel it’s 100% cotton and it wonderfull to touch. It came beautifully packaged and on time. Best purchase ever 👍

Exactly what I was looking for! It’s 100% cotton and a heavier weight than unlined waffle weave. The length is great, almost to my ankles. Really well made with nice seams and large pockets. Feels like it will soften even more after a few washes. The color is beautiful, a really soft aqua. Bought it for going to the hot tub or hot springs when it’s a little chilly outside, or doing my spa days and this is absolutely perfect!

Estuve buscando mucho por una bata que fuera 100% algodón, hasta que por fin encontré esta. Es suficientemente gruesa, me gustó el corte del cuello y las mangas, se siente bien la textura de la tela, es muy cómoda. A diferencia de otros comentarios que dicen que se encoge al lavarla, la verdad es que yo no lo percibí, pero yo soy delgada así que en general me queda bastante amplia pero justo como me gustan. Del largo me llega casi a los tobillos y me gustó que la cinta está justo en mi cintura, así que se ve muy bonita. Estoy muy contenta con mi compra, me gustó muchísimo y si la recomiendo 🤗😊.

This bath robe has everything I wanted in a bathrobe: waffle texture on outside, terry towel inside for showers. It is so stiff though, like wrapping myself in a box. I gave it its first wash and the sleeves shrunk to 3/4 length and the tie wrinkled and twisted like Johnny Apple Seed’s rope belt. Maybe order a size up.

I bought a Large size based on the measurements and other’s reviews but the robe turned out to be way way too big so am returning it.The robe was also really heavy in weight and uncomfortable for me. The material seemed to be good quality but it also had a very strong chemical smell.I assume it may shrink a bit if I were to wash it (to remove the chemical smell), but it is so oversized that it seems not possible to shrink down to a size that would fit me.Based on the Large size, the robe would probably would fit a tall wide shouldered and thick bodied man quite nicely. For my female form, it was very unflattering, and the belt hit me in the completely wrong place. The entire arm hole and sleeve were gigantic.My current size in most clothing is large, and I went off the measurements in the description, which is why I ordered it in that size.

I really like the fabric this robe is made of. The outside is a honeycomb texture which tightens up a bit after it's washed, so I don't think it will snag too easily. The inside is very short terry loops. The combination of the two result in a fairly thick robe, and the fabric is soft. Another thing I like about the robe is the way the sleeves are done because they actually fit. They are raglan sleeves instead of the stupid "drop" sleeves that most robes have, where the seam hangs down to your elbow. The robe is inexpensive so I wasn't expecting the sewing quality to be fantastic and it's not, but I would say it is adequate. There are a few loose threads you will need to trim. The sizing is unisex. I wear a Large in most women't clothing and ordered a Medium in this robe, and it fits me just right, by which I mean it has plenty of "overlap" but isn't too bulky. I'm glad I didn't follow Amazon's recommendation and order a Large. Overall this is a nice robe for the price.
