This is a great broom. The soft fine bristles are efficient at picking up dust like flower spills and it’s perfect for our hardwood floors. It is so much better than the plastic bristle brooms that are so common. The handle and body are made of solid wood And the handle to head secures very tightly and does not come loose by itself like some others. The size is right too, not being overly large so it can get into tight places. This is a very nice broom, and I highly recommend it.

Real horsehair and real wood so it is top quality, not plastic!A tip: For storing, make sure to hang it or store upside down to not ruin the delicate horsehair bristles by its own weight and gravity weighing down on it.Only negative thing about it is that there is a “horsehair brush” sticker that comes on it is difficult to peel offGreat value!

(1) IF YOU HAVE a wood or stone floor, you NEED a soft horsehair broom, it is an essential. Nothing else will get your floor clean. Vacuums just blow the dust around.(2) To get a horsehair broom for only 30 bucks is fantastic. Incredible!(3) This is a SIMPLY made, yet PERFECT horsehair broom.(4) The wooden handle is PERFECT. It simply screws in perfectly, wood in to wood.(5) The horsehair is VERY GOOD at the price. It's nothing to pay two hundred dollars for a fine horsehair broom, at the price this product is impeccable.(6) The company VERY CONFUSINGLY sells a huge range of brushes. Even worse, there are idiotic option menus on the amazon listing, which is just stupid. Take care you don't accidentally choose the metal handle option or one of the different heads. This NONSENSE has, of course, resulted in folks quite rightly complaining in a few reviews that "why is the handle metal" "why is the horsehair green plastic" etc. the company needs to clear up this nonsense with clearer information.(7) Even more confusingly the company offers a "better" horsehair broom at about 60 bucks. I have not tried it but my guess would be, stick to this incredibly priced one unless you are going to spend $200 on a ultimate horsehair brush.(*) Yes, it is delivered in a long cardboard box that fits the handle! When you open the box, just screw the wooden handle in to the wooden head. Both sides are threaded and it fits perfectly. It is absolutely sturdy, no issues, strong as an ox.(*) DON'T FORGET YOU HAVE TO STORE HORSEHAIR BROOMS HANGING - either upside down or hanging free of the floor. You can NOT leave them sitting upright "pressed against the floor" in your broom closet!Incredible bargain at 30 bucks, a broom of integrity, good quality, simply made.

I read some reviews on this saying that the wood handle doesn't turn into the brush head (someone even whittled the threads away)Well I'm here to tell you that it DOES turn in, but getting it threaded at the start is quite tricky as it's at a angle. It turns very hard, so it will never loosen once you really get it jammed in there. I am a noodle armed 43 year old woman, and was able to get it assembled. It might help you to hold the brush head firmly between your feet and turn the handle in when you're really close to bottoming it out. Don't be too hard on it, you don't wanna snap it. You could also employ a bench vise which might mark the wood. But by golly, I was able to get it in with sheer strength of will alone and you can too!Once I got him assembled, I put him to work. I have solid red oak wood floors that I installed, stained, and varnished myself. I want to protect them with soft horse hair brooms and dust mops. I am having a ton of drywall work done right now, which means drywall dust everywhere.Have you ever tried sweeping drywall dust? Regular brooms don't sweep it. This lovely horsehair broom sweeps it! My only gripe is that the bristles are not angled the way a regular sweeping broom's more sturdy bristles are angled to make it easier to get into the corners. Though with these soft bristles, I don't know that an angled cut would hold up. Oh well, it doesn't bother me.This broom is great.

Okay, first off I don’t ever get excised about brooms, however this broom just does such an awesome job. A lot of brooms get say 80%of the dust in my shop each pass. This one seemed to get like 98%, so you want this broom. Now the handle isn’t close to fitting without working it. I tried doing some carving as another review mentioned , I suppose that could work but it didn’t.In the end, I just sanded down the diameter of the threads and it fit. Very secure. Not sure I can get it off without braking some wood threads. So if you have sandpaper, you’re good. I actually used my finishing sander and just rotated the handle to trim it down in diameter.I had deepened the groves but not sure that’s required. My wife tried it and wants one. (She does get excited about brooms and did. ) so I’ll let you know if it needs carving. If it’s July 2024 and no update, sanding is all that is required.

I'm uncertain what type of debris this broom is good for sweeping, or the surface required, because I haven't found it yet. The bristles are too soft to brush up just about anything on any surface. Very disappointed.

This broom is ideal for ceramic and wood flooring! Sweeping floors are much easier because these Bristols on the broom are soft! Dust, dirt and debris are easily swept up! I would have given a 5 if the broom handle was easier to twist into broom head. Overall very happy with its natural wood finish !

Not heavy duty as far as the ability to really get dirt and dust out of rough pavement. I got it for my front walkway next to my garden to sweep away garden dirt and leaves etc. The bristles are beautiful and soft for no damage sweeping on wood and tile floors if you are not trying to scrape anything out of crevices or anything.

Appears well built, I originally thought this was a push style broom. However when it arrived I went ahead &assembled it & put it to use. I am cleaning drywall dust & small debris as part of my Hurricane Michael recovery. The broom is an upright style being used in a low overhead area, works well, cleans the dust up well (always a challange). Like the softness, working well for my application. If I wear it out or ruin it, I will buy another. Happy with purchase.

Unbelievably awful!!! The broom stick does not screw into the broom head! Not functional whatsoever. Also product description is VERY confusing as to length of broom head. Typically when you buy a broom, it indicates 12" or 18" and so on but it didn't specifically say. The listed product dimensions are 2 x 14 x 51 inches. I assumed that meant the broom head was 14" but it's actually less than 11"! Finally although title is 'Horsehair" broom, it is most definitely NOT horsehair. Completely misleading and scammy. I would not recommend buying this.
