I purchased the SuperHandy 7500 lb model for moving my travel trailer, which weighs around 4900 pounds empty. I have a blacktop driveway for maneuvering the trailer, and the driveway has about a 3-4% pitch/slope away from the RV garage. I received my SuperHandy dolly yesterday, and assembled it in about 45-60 minutes--it could go faster and easier if the manufacturer provided better illustrations with the assembly instructions. I also charged it overnight to ensure a good charge for the batteries. This morning my wife and I connected the dolly to our travel trailer, and moved it easily about 60-70 feet, to get it positioned to push/back into the RV garage. The unit did the job just fine, no issues encountered, and we're glad we made this purchase, as it's really the only safe, easy way to maneuver our trailer into the RV garage, given the space we have to work with. I've only used the dolly once, but it worked as promised--I would recommend it to anyone who needs to move a trailer/boat in tight spaces.

This trailer dolly is exactly what I wanted. Is it just like moving a trailer with a truck? Of course not. There are things it won't do, but it will move a trailer on a flat surface with relative ease.I've had this dolly for about a month and a half now, and been able to move 4 or 5 of my trailers with it. Unfortunately, I have not had my largest/heaviest trailer, a 14' dump trailer, at my home since I got this dolly so haven't had a chance to try moving it. It does move the cargo trailer, the 2 horse trailer, the 3 horse trailer and the 4 horse trailer with ease. It also had no problem moving the trailer we use to put our truck camper in the garage with the camper on it. (This was the impetus for purchasing the dolly in the first place.)Our yard is relatively flat and has lots of concrete driveway. Unfortunately it is anything but a straight shot as we have to wind our way around a large "S" curve just getting trailers in the back yard, then even more curving to get in the detached garage/barn. Although it is difficult to turn trailers sharply with this dolly because the large wheels contact the tongue of the trailer when turned at a sharp angle, it will turn enough that with some back and forth the trailer can be wrangled into the desired spot. I have noticed that if the trailer goes off the concrete and onto the lawn or into the dirt this dolly has a hard time getting it back on the concrete. It does not like off-roading and I suspect that the heavier the trailer, the more difficulty it will have in this area. It also does not like going over bumps of much significance. In both cases the engaged wheels on the dolly will lose traction and spin. The trailer brake feature works very well and keeps the trailer from running away with the dolly when you wish it would stay still. The most difficult thing I've found with it is changing the ball every time I want to move a trailer with a different sized coupler. Not that it's hard, but when shifting multiple trailers at the same time I have to unscrew the ball and screw another on, then repeat when going back to the first trailer. (I know, big time first world problem.)If you want one of these I do suggest waiting for a sale. When I purchased it was fairly expense, the day it arrived I came back to Amazon to see that it was on sale for $800 less than I paid 3 weeks earlier. If not for the hassle of shipping it freight I would have sent it back and reordered.Overall, I'm glad I bought this trailer dolly and will use it often.

This trailer dolly is a big help in putting my trailers where I want them. Sometimes you can’t put them where you want them using a vehicle. A trailer dolly is much better.

No directions IN THE MANUAL on how to:1) charge the battery.2) determine if the battery is fully charged.3) determine what the the variety of numbers and symbols mean on top of the machine.4) MOST IMPORTANT!! direct you to go into the battery compartment to read additional information. There I found that unless two wires were attached, THE MACHINE WOULD NOT FUNCTION (DO ANYTHING).When I finally got the machine properly wired, I was able to on my own, determine how the charger worked. How can you determine anything, when the machine doesn’t react (DO ANYTHING).In closing, the manual should have directed the user to the battery compartment, for added instructions. Better yet include the instructions (ALL INSTRUCTIONS) in the manual.I’m currently waiting for a response as to what the numbers and symbols on the machine. In the meantime, I’ll make sure my trailer dolly is near an electrical outlet. I know how to get it fully charged, I JUST don’t know when the battery is about to be used up. Hence, be near an outlet.

Surface has to be flat and smooth to be able to use it. Wont operate on stone, or go up even a slight incline, wouldnt push up a lip of 5mm, wheels spinning. Trailer used was only 1500KG so massively lower than the spec . Refund in process from Amazon

Overall seems good value for the money. Instructions could be better for assembly.
