Sturdy and pliable 50-ft hose. Retracts strongly and with oscillating mechanism so it winds on the reel evenly. Came with British standard threads on Euro quick-release fittings. (for delivery to Ireland) No leaks so far at 100PSI. Two long lag bolts with anchors and teflon tape in the box.

Depending on price this is good, I got this to put in my shop and it worked well for me, I didn't use the bolts to mount it, had to go buy lag bolts and that made it easier to hang. Once up I was able to connect it to my compressor and it was great, no more cables on the floor. And for a price of $60-75 it's good, but the price of this is jumping like crazy, above $75 I would wait for it to be marked down. It's good, but there are other options in the price range that are just as good if this is too high.

What you need to know.1. The hose struggles to retract. Either the spring is not wound enough or not strong enough to support the reel. This is not a "slow controlled rewind." I found myself having to force the last couple of feet inside the reel as you would an old vacuum.2. No audible clicking. Unlike every other reel out there, this one does not provide the standard 3 clicks informing you of lock or release condition. It is designed for "soft pulls" and "hard pulls." Really, to get it to lock/unlock you have to guess and play with it.For me its easier to use my free hose and wind it around my arm than this. Wish it had worked.

I bought this hose as we are always in need of inflating tires and other items. I use a small pancake compressor but the hose is long and has been lying around the garage which is a tripping hazard. I purchases this and installed it in my garage. I added some wood to the wall to give the reel plenty of room to swing. This also made it easy to screw in two bolts to mount the reel to. Once that was done I had to buy a hose attachment so I could connect it directly to the pancake compressor. Pretty easy and Home Depot or Lowes has all those hose attachments if you need them. I love the fact that I can just pull the hose out to the cars and then it retracts like a champ. So far so good.

This is a hose that will do what you need it to do. It will stretch out the 50 feet and with a firm tug it will coil back. You need to hold on to the hose as you walk it back so it does not get away from you thereby keeping it under control. There is some effort but minimal compared to manually coiling one up by hand and arm strength. If you want something easier than this, then hire a gardener to do the work for you.

Ended up returning this item. The mounting bracket is poorly designed - it doesn't allow the reel to rotate 90 degrees and sit flat against the wall. As a result the reel is always sticking out from the wall more than I hoped.

Awesome reel for my needs, outdoor use on my deck for various uses. Pulls out nice and easy, retracts slow but consistent. Had a larger reel that could not stand the weather in Central Texas, this one stands the heat and humidity, works great at 100psi I have piped to it!! I’d recommend without a thought.

I wanted a 12awg retractable cord for the garage and SuperHandy was one of only a few that offered it. Most only offer 14awg. Given they also offered the retractable hose was also looking for I thought why not to match. My biggest concern was the hose would be more plastic than rubber which thankfully is not the case. It is very flexible and durable which is a must when constantly rolling up. Out of the box and installed both the hose real and cord real appear to have pretty good initial quality, look good, and are serving their purpose. Will check back if any issues arise.
