If you can't afford a full set Aramith balls at least have a quality cue ball.

I use this ball for practice. I like the feedback of being able to see how the ball is spinning.

Why would you buy a cheapy cue ball? You will not wear this cue ball out so why not buy the best. This is one of the categories where you don't want to penny pinch. Just buy the best and don't look back.

Picture that was shown on the review page doesn't look like the cue ball I ordered. If this is the six red dot cue ball then I highly recommend it to everyone. Not yellow like some other cue balls. GREAT FOR PRACTICE. I also use it during tournament play if allowed.

Much better ball than the ones provided at your neighborhood pool hall. So far, I think the consistency that comes with using the same cue ball every time I play has helped improve my stroke. But obviously I have a bias due to the fact that I paid over $25 for a cue ball and don't want to feel foolish. Either way, I believe my stroke has improved due to the aforementioned consistency.
