These are the easiest and frankly the best connectors out there. I had problems with the single wire units and had no issues at all with these connectors. Highly recommend.

it is not easy to wire up, but it is a good connection.

These really work well. Much easier to use than the ones that require pliers to squeeze the connector to penetrate the wire. Those can be difficult due to limited access when doing a repair, and it's easy to not position the wire properly. Plus if you are working with old, brittle-insulation wire, it can be difficult to get enough leverage to penetrate the plastic. On the other hand, these are much easier to use. Each conductor of the wire is penetrated separately, and by a screw thread, requiring a lot less force. Another nice feature is that you can connect the light-fixture wiring directly to this connector, without the need for wire nuts. Just be careful not to overtighten the nuts, or you could strip the screw threads.

Just installed the first one yesterday to replace one of the original, plastic ones. Super easy to install and super quality.

I had a 20-year old M@libu light system in my garden. Only two of 12 lights were working, and no amount of fidgeting with the connectors could get the non-working lights to work again. As I replaced the original connectors with these, one-by-one, each light lit up. These connectors saved my system.I've already re-ordered. This is because I am installing a similar system in a different location, and I will use these connectors from the start. The connectors are very easy to install. The only tools needed are a small, inexpensive hand tool that is a wire cutter/stripper, and a sharp, pointed knife from your kitchen to split the two sections of the low voltage wire where you wish to install the new connector. It helps to have a stool to sit on as you work your way around your garden to replace your connectors! In the photo, you will see the wire cutter/stripper tool that I used, the old connector left in place, and the new connector that has each of my lights working again.

The wire connectors worked great with my 16-2 wire. Good directions and the connectors pierce the wire as designed. This is a very good product and cd radio work with.

I use 12 gauge wire to feed my planting beds and individual lights have 16 gauge lead wires. Corrosion of the copper wire at connections has been a constant problem over the years leading to lights dimming and strobe effects when it rains.I have tried many different brands and types of connectors, with mixed results, but I believe these will finally solve the problem They were easy to install and make a solid, robust connection. The 12 gauge wires were a tight fit, but I did not have to crush them with pliers get them in the slot. However, the 16 gauge wire is small for the inside diameter of the connector, so I filled the empty space around the wires with clear silicone sealant to keep the moisture out.Of course I won't know how good they really are for a couple of years, but so far, so good. I have dozens of lights in my system, and as old connectors fail, I will install these as replacements. And I will definitely use them for expansion projects.
