And it got them digging up nails, screws and stuff from the yard as someone in the past had burned up lots of construction wood and materials there. Decent sensitivity and selectivity. While being a toy really it does work well enough to find keys or tools lost in the weeds or grass. Dropped nuts and bolts from that Harley your rebuilding in the yard is an easy task now with this guy. Love it, good value for the low bucks.

Accuracy is decent, with good depth leading to great basic functionality. great fun for Kids who will really enjoy looking for "treasure" in the parks. Just remember to fill in your holes afterwards.It comes with everything you need which is great value for money.Use this to learn what you want to upgrade too later and have fun doing it.

This metal detector is easy to use and works as described. It is well built and quick to assemble. The two nine volt batteries supplied allow for instant out of the box use. I tried it on a stainless wedding ring “hidden” under a pillow and it was able to find and pinpoint the location. The way it allows you to search for items of different value based on the type of metal detected is a nice feature. The display is easy to read and the sounds plenty loud enough to hear in all but the noisiest environment. The headphones could be used at that point. Noted that they are functional, but seem to be designed for a child’s head width. They have plenty of adjustment from the top of my head to my ears and are comfortable enough, but when opened out to go over my head, they have an opening at the bottom of my ear like they are stretched too wide. Still, for the price/feature ratio, this is a great starter set for metal detecting.

Although we ordered this metal detector with one specific use in mind it was perfect for our needs my mother and I were doing some weight for clean up in the front and backyard raking leaves up once again from our neighbors trees it always seem to wind up in our backyard after 2 days of raking and begging leaves we were almost done and just finishing in the last corner of our exceptionally large backyard which is approximately 167 ft by 150 after putting the rakes away and going inside I want immediately into the bathroom to take a shower while my mother went into the kitchen to make us both a cup of chicken bouillon soup after changing clothes and feeling human again I came downstairs and sweatpants and sneakers and found my 89-year-old mother sitting crying ringing her hands at the kitchen table a stock comparison to how happy she was not 30 minutes earlier it turns out during our endeavor to clean the leaves up from the neighbors trees that always wind up in our backyard she had lost her gold wedding band for my father who had passed away 30 years earlier and she was absolutely heartbroken with the impending winter promising to be a snowy one we had no idea what to do to retrieve the ring when we came up on the thought of what a great time it would be if we had a metal detector I jumped on the internet and found this one and ordered it immediately not knowing anything about metal detectors other than it was very reasonably priced and had decent reviews once it arrived I quickly put it together surprised at how well made it was for as inexpensive as it was compared to some of the other ones that were two time more expensive now I'm a big guy 6'3" and found the size was still easily usable for someone of my large stature the ergonomic hand grip was comfortable and the perfect size for my large hands as well as her small hands the metal detector itself was considerably more accurate than I ever would have guessed and found all kinds of metallic things in the lawn it was really the perfect size for our endeavor I immediately set up a grid pattern in the backyard and starting searching from left to right and then up and back and on the second day after learning how to set it up a little better which was incredibly easy I found the lost engagement ring. Now like I said i knowing absolutely nothing about metal detecting or having the desire to know anything about metal detecting but I found that this metal detector was stoutly made easy to use functionsthat are clearly visible on the LED screen it also had an included headset so you can hear the noises when going over anything metallic beneath the wand. it was light as a feather and actually kind of fun to use. After the retrieving the ring my mother swore she would never wear her rings and jewelry while doing gardening again and from that day on it's been on a gold chain around her neck we often go to the beach where my father used to fish during the summer months living minutes from the beach we talked about taking it with us the next time we go to the beach this summer and try are luck at treasure hunting and beachcombing for gold doubloons left by pirates all in all I would say I definitely would recommend this to anyone interested in a good well made easy to use metal detector.
