I have used many different brands of ABS-line resin on my printer, but this is the best one. Works excellently using the settings, washes clean easily and cures to a hard and strong product.

This is a great all-around resin. It may not do everything perfectly, but does most things well. The pictures are of some of my prints, I have done very little to clean these up other than removing the supports and assembling the car (wheels were separate). This material is tuf. The ball can be thrown, bounced, and beaten. I have printed a couple and plan on trying a couple bats on some of them. I don't image it would struggle with a wiffle ball bat, but I doubt it will survive a metal or wood bat.Note: Thin pieces, such as the sword held by the biker punk, are flexible. I printed a bookmark for my sister (Sorry no pictures) and the part that went in the book was very thin and very flexible, but still seemed durable.I have only had one print failure, but I have failed to get that particular model to print with any resin.I have only had a 3D printer for a month or so at this point, I have tried a few resins. This one is the best and the price is right.

I used the same settings as my standard resin and I’m very happy with the result. I’ve already dropped several minis in circumstances that would have shattered a previous one. No injuries!

I purchased this Water-Wash ABS Dark Grey resin hoping to replace the Space Grey color from Elegoo. The print quality seems really good and the parts do seem more durable. however I was really hoping the Dark grey would actually be dark but its fairly light grey which was disappointing because I was intending to use the resin for a certain project that needed a dark grey color that I wont be able to use it for now. Other than the color being way lighter shaded the resin seems to perform great and seems very durable with some slight flex

i have tested a lot of resins from elegoo reprapper flashforge surayatech and so on . This by far outperforms them in the smelliness department. Its baarely noticeble. the strengh is good too. Prints can be broken but the wont break as easy as other waterwashables. Print speed is adequate too.The bad: Pricier than others ( not siraya tech). Not for functional parts. I found that the warping and dimentional accuracity is not on par with alcohol washed resins. So dont buy for that. For miniatures, absolutely fine resin.

This resin has great detail, easy to print with, plenty of print profiles in lychee slicer, doesn’t smell too bad (for a resin) and is great value. Never had one leak in transit and is not brittle when cured like other brands or models.Parts stay flat when cured and are pretty accurate. Can drop parts and they generally hold up ok.Have printed a new trigger for my vacuum cleaner and is going on a year without breaking like the original ABS molded one.

This resin is hands down the best value resin you can buy. I had been using siraya tech fast resin exclusively for about the last 4-5 years, because any other resin I tried just didn’t stack up. I decided to give Sunlu a try because I saw a lot of YouTubers using it but just thought it was due to the low cost.Figured it would still be crappy brittle trash like most anything else I’ve tried not made by Siraya tech. Never the less I decided to buy a 2kg bottle to try it out and will never go back. The results were as good as the siraya tech fast in terms of durability and print quality as well as extremely low failure % (maybe around 1% Usually due to my mistake with supports) and all that at literally half the cost. I am blown away by how good this stuff is at the price point. if you’re reading reviews like I was before pulling the trigger and are apprehensive, I promise you, you won’t regret the decision and you will be a Sunlu resin user for life. If making the switch from siraya tech fast, you don’t even need to change your slicer settings/exposure times. I treat this resin exactly the same and it gives me exactly the same awesome results. 5 Good stars to Sunlu for putting out a quality resin at the lowest price point on the market.

I’m new to 3d printing, I have a Saturn 8k printer which has the build plate capacity for some larger scale table top miniature creatures and terrain. After a week of delight printing 28mm minis with standard resin I was eager to try printing some gloriously colossal dragons. I chose some models that were probably not the best for beginners, having lots of delicate features, very long and thin antennas, horns, whiskers, stuff like that. I was clumsily breaking all these details in post print clean up and assembly. Among other learning, I thought to try a more durable resin to see if I could be more successful. I had ordered a translucent standard resin marketed on Amazon under the name Jayo that I was pleased with, I had noticed on the resin bottle label it was licensed under Sunlu, what precisely that means, I can’t be certain, but I suspected it was simply that Jayo produces and sells resins based on Sunlu formulas. Having experienced good results with that product, when I saw the Sunlu ABS-like resin offered at such a low price for the 2000 ml size package, I felt it was worth giving it a try. I had never used another abs-like resin before so I can’t say it is or is not as good as the other brand that may cost 2 to 3x as much, but what I can tell you is that I am pleased with how this abs-like resin is performing in my application. It is a thicker viscosity than standard resin and following the results of two benchmark prints, I had to adjust my exposure time up 0.5 seconds, but that was all it took to start printing successful large scale models with details that can stand up to my fumbling! The new prints had much greater flex and durability, I dropped a 12 hour print on the hardwood floor after taking it out of the UV curing box and it survived without loosing horn or claw! The resin comes very well packaged, the jug is sealed in a bag, inside a fitted air bubble sleeve inside a cardboard box. The 2 liter jug is an elongate shape that is easy to hold while pouring and is stable when returning resin through a funnel. The resin came with some funnel filters also, a nice surprise. The Sunlu ABS-like resin seems more consistent from the bottle, like it stays well blended better, than the standard resin I have used. Even when I add more of this resin to a vat I have printed from a couple times, when I mix it with the silicone spatula it seems to combine more readily, at least from the visual perspective. I see the same fine details in my prints, it washes just as easily and does not have any more odor than the standard resin I have been using but it is noticeably more durable…and yet somehow actually costs less. I haven’t found anything to dislike about this resin and at the cost, I can’t see a reason not to use it for all my minis and enjoy a little extra klutz insurance. Maybe other ABS resins are better- I would not know, but for a hobby printer creating miniatures, this resin meets all my needs and expectations while the lower cost allows me to print more stuff than I could possibly paint in a lifetime. Try it, you’ll like it!
