Fluorocarbon Line

Fluorocarbon Line

Polyvinylidene Fluoride Single Filament fishing line has a fast sinking speed with no moisture absorption. Nearly invisible in the water and has slightly less stretch than nylon line. Knot strength: 70% of straight strength.

Nylon Line

Nylon Line

Polyamide monofilament fishing line has a sinking speed of 1.14 with a moderate amount of stretch to help absorb shock. Diameter and stretch increase with water absorption. Knot strength: 85% of straight strength.

PE/Braided Line

PE/Braided Line

Ultra high strength polyethylene fiber does not absorb moisture giving it minimal stretch. Most line made with this material either suspends or floats in the water. The strength of this line can be 3-3.5x stronger than nylon line.

Spooled this 12lb line on one of my Shimano Curado DC’s. Applied line condioter as I spooled it and a couple sprays after the reel was spooled to soak overnight before fishing in the morning. I’m pretty efficient at casting baitcasters and did manage to make it through the day with the line. However I did find it to be less manageable than the Sunline Assassin FC I’ve been using on 4 other rods. I appreciate the reviews I read before I make a purchase and with that said I’m just one guy. Just my opinion. I will consider this purchase a experimental loss for which I’ve made many to try to get a edge. Thanks

Best Fluorocarbon line I have ever used on my bait caster. Thin, strong and great knot strength.....expensive but will continue to use!

I have 18lb spooled up on my Shimano Curado 200K, and it is just absolutely amazing. After a few adjustments it casts super easily. The abrasion resistance and strength is phenomenal. I am not sure I could go back to any line after trying this one once. Well worth the price, although, the prices on Amazon appear to be a little wonky.

I used it on my okuma travel rod I recently brought and I was not impress with the quality of the line. I have had andes backcounty fishing line and berkley fishing line on my other rods and I would say they are better fishing line and at a better prices as well.

Did I mention that this line casts like a rocket? wait, did I mention this line casts like a rocket? Oh wait, I did. Thats because it DOES. I have used many Sunline products and I am well aquatinted with the Super Sniper. When I saw that Sunline had something "better" I had to give it a try. Paired with my Cronarch Ci4+ this line will send your lure farther than you've ever thrown it with a bait caster. Did I mention this stuff casts a MILE?
