These things are long, so they cover the wrists and parts of the forearms. I'm short, so they cover a really good bit of my forearms. I have used them quite a bit since I bought them, and they are well made, soft on the inside and very comfortable to wear, and I have not even come close to being burned.I purchased these mitts with four black silicone oven pads, and they work fantastic together. The mitts by themselves are a really great product, and I wouldn't be concerned about feeling too much heat through them unless something is just insanely hot. Extremely happy with my purchase, I would buy them again for sure, and I recommend them to people who like the look and don't want to be burned. Lol

These oven mitts are amazing. They provide great protection, as I cant feel any heat through them at all. The extra length of them are great too so I don’t worry about bumping my forearm on the oven on accident and getting burnt. They are very thick and easy to clean. The color is true and identical to what was shown online too.

These oven mitts work very well to protect against high heat. I like the fact that they're long and therefore, protect your arms as well as your hands. Great quality too!

I bought these primarily because I got a dutch oven, and the ones I already had would not have protected my hands from the heat of cast iron. Can't feel the heat through them, and they have a really good grip. They're also not super thick so you're able to get a hold of things easily

I love these so much, this is my second pair. Actually, I bought KitchenAid first because they were on sale and thought it was an upgrade but they were too big for me and were torn on arrival. I went back and found this brand and purchased another pair in a different color. The oven mitts are so much nicer than the name brand and are better quality, fit better and protect your arms more. If you have larger hands; they will be a little snug on you but with time the material inside relaxes and gives you a little more room.Love that they are easy to clean off and no longer have to worry about getting scaled by accidentally laying them down on a wet counter or steam from the food coming out of the oven. Will buy more I. The future, especially if they go on sale!

they are as describedThey were a gift for my wife however, she got two pair for Christmas so I never used these. I did return them but had to pay the postage which I had not expected to do. I think that unless you say you are not satisfied you'll end up paying the postage.
