We bought this for home use only with child so if you are an avid player and looking for a professional review, I will not be that go to person. I sprinkle it on and it appears to do exactly what it is intended to do just fine. Good size can so I am not needing to repurchase this often. I would buy this product again.

We inherited an old shuffleboard where the wax was 40 years old and you would have to really push the pucks to get it down to the other end. After cleaning up the old wax, applying the silicon and new wax, it was better than new.

Decent "sand" but gives fairly inconsistent play. I cleared my board, sprayed with silicone, waited 5 minutes, gently buffed the board, and then applied a light coating of sand. The results are pretty good, but there are still dead spots and super slick spots that seem to shift from game to game. I have tried different amounts of sand, but have not found a way to make play consistent.
